Comparison is the thief of joy?

I always tell people “stop comparing yourself to other people” Yesterday I sat on a stage at the running festival in between two absolute running legends and Imposter syndrome to the absolute max! 1 UK triathlete, 2 ultra running legends and 1 old man from Wiltshire 🟢⚪️

No idea what I said. All my brain kept saying was “Dude there’s kids on the front row. Do not swear”

Thank you Liz and Tim. Thank you for running the panel so smoothly. So nice to finally meet you all. Thank you Lizzie for what you did for my family earlier this year great to meet you in person. Finally thank you to everyone who turned up had some really fun conversations.

I stand up at 05:30 and the next time I sit down is 21:30.

Taking care of - Dad, kids, work, coursework, cats, home, garden, running 50+ mile weeks and exercising every day.

Couldn’t do it without products. Yes I am an ambassador for them. Yes they have given me free stuff in the past. But no more. I am still an ambassador but I have voluntarily refused any freebies. I pay the same as you. Why? Because their stuff works. It keeps injuries at bay and allows me to train hard on top of my hectic life. So I’m grateful to them and want them to continue to take care of their business.

running festival in Kesall Hill equestrian centre still has some tickets available before it’s sold out.

5 mile trail run, running stands, speaker panel, dog friendly. (Not on the run though) and a cafe for refreshments. Camping available on site for the night before.

My excitement when this came through the post was childlike! All my trainers are falling to pieces. Time to get sewing! This + .ups = never ending footwear
