Well done to everyone who took part in our recent workshops 👏

A group of young people are now first-aid trained — CPR, resuscitation and emergency response. Skills that genuinely save lives, on and off the pitch.

10 are on their way to completing their ECB Core Coach qualification — a lifelong coaching badge that helps them deliver quality sessions across our kids' programmes, in the community and at their own clubs. More coaches in the game.

Weekly Strength & Conditioning at The Warriors HQ, led by trainer Mazen Al Naemi — a tailored programme building towards the cricket season, following our intro-to-gym workshops earlier this year.

Last summer we worked with The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation & ECB to run free weekly cricket sessions for Masjid Umar Madrassah students.

Last summer, Sheffield's Champions Sharrow Stars shone bright at Park Avenue Cricket Ground - Bradford- lifting The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation Cities Junior Hundred competition (after winning the Sheffield Junior Hundred at Shiregreen).

This was a testament to the commitment of volunteers to coach these youngsters, the passion of partner organisations to allow youngsters to play, and the abundance of talent in our city to win 3 times in 3 years.

Sheffield Clinch Yorkshire Junior Hundred Hat-Trick Sheffield’s Sharrow Stars seal a Yorkshire Junior Hundred hat-trick at Park Avenue, Bradford, as four city champions meet for a soft-ball finals day.

Our Men's Winter Wellbeing League at the English Institute of Sport kept cricket active and social throughout winter 2025.

The BBICL final will now take place on a rescheduled date, to be confirmed shortly.

Thank you to Everyone Active EIS - Sheffield active for their continued support of our indoor programmes, and to the Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park Legacy Fund, administered by South Yorkshire's Community Foundation, for supporting the league.

Across the season, 89 men stayed active, connected and engaged.

Longley Legends sit top of the BBICL table with a semi-final spot already secured and one game to go before Finals Day at EIS.
