Never run out of water on a long ride again! The Breakaway + cap turns your bidon into a water filter. It removes 99.9% of waterborne bacteria so you can confidently refill from streams and rivers. It’s perfect for off-road rides and overnight camp trips. What a flippin great idea.

E-bikes and e-buses! The future of South Yorkshire public transport. It was great to be at City Hall today for the rollout of the South Yorkshire People’s Network. The mayor is bringing buses back into public ownership and launching an e-bike subscription scheme. We’re thrilled that the mayor’s office chose bikes for their big brand launch today.

Fancy a challenge in May? The North by North-West Audaxes are open for entries! 2 x 200km audaxes through the Pennines and Dales with an overnight camp and breakfast at Dales Bike Centre.
We have a new base location for 2026 at Wadsley Church Hall, avoiding the city centre and tram tracks.

The Day 1 route heads north from Sheffield, through the Pennines, crossing the border between Lancashire and Yorkshire before heading into the beautiful Yorkshire dales. The route features some of the most beautiful and challenging scenery in the north, taking in some famous landmarks along the way, including the Ribblehead Viaduct, Buttertubs Pass and England's highest pub - The Tan Hill Inn. You''ll finish at the at the Dales Bike Centre, where food, drink and camping is available.

Day 2 is slightly easier on the legs! After breakfast at Dales Bike Centre you'll head east following the River Swale through Richmond and onto Northallerton The route skirts the edge of the North York Moors to the lovely village of Easingwold where it criss-crosses the vale of York, first to Tadcaster then on to Selby. The final section of the route travels south-east through the old pit villages of South Yorkshire and back into Sheffield.

Our North by North West, back-to-back, 200km audaxes are finally on the calendar! We also have a new Sheffield start and end location at Wadsley Church Hall for 2026.
