From attending our inclusive football sessions and taking the time to meet participants and learn why these sessions are so important to the LGBTQ+ community, to contributing to our Football v Homophobia matchday programme and supporting both Sheffield United’s men’s and women’s Football v Homophobia campaigns, Charlotte has consistently championed our community.

She has also used her platform to visibly support Rainbow Blades and help amplify our message.

🌈🤝 The Regional Alliance of LGBTQ+ Football Supporters’ Groups is growing!

A warm welcome to Rainbow Rovers LGBTQ Supporter Group and Rainbow Reds to the alliance, as we continue working together across Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire to champion LGBTQ+ inclusion and visibility in football. ⚽️

Rainbow Rovers: “We are pleased and excited to be joining the LGBTQ+ Regional Alliance. Rainbow Rovers looks forward to working together with the existing members and ensuring that football is an inclusive place for all members of the LGBTQ+ community.”

Rainbow Reds: “It’s great to be part of the LGBTQ+ Regional Alliance, as joining others, who are at different stages of their fan group journey, will allow Rainbow Reds to evolve and grow into an LGBTQ+ and allies network at Barnsley FC. We are trying to create a safe and inclusive space in football, including for visiting fans to Oakwell.”
