A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to leave tips and coaching advice on our recent video, where Fred needed to screw back so the cue ball bounced off 2 cushions! 🙏🏼

We had so many great suggestions, but quite a few people commented that at 5 years old, Fred was simply too small to generate the power needed for this shot.

A simple adjustment moving the white up just a touch made all the difference - and Fred proved once again that technique beats power every single time! 🎱🤩

We asked 5 year old Fred to clear the heyball table... and here’s how he did 👀🤩

​We decided to leave in every single shot, including the misses. Our favourite pots were the pink stripe and the black. Which was your favourite? 🎱

​Most importantly - this wasn't just any old practice... it was his very first time using his brand new, specially made K Jones heyball cue from Woodhouse Cues!

​Safe to say, Fred loves it. It's beautiful, it's the perfect size and weight, and clearly he plays well with it!

​Thank you so much to Kev and the team at Woodhouse Cues - their junior cues are by far the best we've ever seen, and their customer service is second to none! 🙌

​Fred can't wait to use his new cue again next week!

5-year-old Fred is completely stuck on this Cuestars Bronze Level 5 routine! 🙈

Potting the black is (mostly!) fine and the screw is there, but we can’t get the white to hit both cushions.

Is it the cue ball angle...or something else?? Any tips from coaches or players would be appreciated! 👇

Who needs trick shots when the ball return is this exciting? 😂

Fred had a great time potting balls on the heyball table at Club 200, but the ball return definitely stole the show! It’s the simple things when you're 5! 🎱

5 year old Fred showing his precision with the rest. In this Cuestars snooker routine, the cue ball is placed for each shot to pot the reds.

He potted 5 out of 6 🤩 A great effort with room for improvement!

This routine formed part of his Bronze Level Four, which he became the youngest ever person to pass last month!

The team at Woodhouse Cues have spoilt Fred once again! 🤩

Fred has really enjoyed playing on the new Heyball tables at Levels but was struggling with the adult cues. We looked online but couldn't find any kids cues suitable for him.

We were absolutely blown away when we were offered a K Jones Cues Heyball cue, which has been made especially for Fred...and wow - it was definitely worth the wait 😍 Isn't it a beauty!

Fred is unable to play at the moment as he's recovering from surgery, but he's desperate to get back on a table and give this brand new cue its first test drive!

Once again we need to say the biggest THANK YOU to Kev and the team at Woodhouse Cues. Their support is absolutely incredible and allows Fred to play with equipment he would never have had the chance to use normally. We can't thank you enough for giving Fred the opportunities he deserves ❤️🙌🏼

When you find out you need glasses VS When you're told you look like Dennis Taylor 😂

It's been a whole year since Fred found out he needed glasses and he was definitely not impressed! But the amazing staff at Greenfield Eyecare Ltd - knowing Fred is a big snooker fan - told him that he looked like Dennis Taylor.

He flipped them upside down and that was that! He loves his glasses and has worn them every single day ever since.

Thank goodness he'd grown up watching Dennis on Big Break! 😂🤓

If you didn't know, back in August, Fred officially passed Cuestars Bronze Level 4 at just 5 years old - becoming the youngest player ever to do it!
