5 years today since Sheffield Elite was Formed 📈🏀

What a journey it’s been so far, may the next 5 years be even better than the last!

Here’s some of the Teams from when we started in 2021/22 with only 1 U16C and 1 U18C Team.

Fast forward to 2026 and we now have
U12, U14 P & U14C, U16 P & U16C, U18 P & U18C

With 2 teams making the National Playoffs in Premier with the U14’s making the final 8 in the country and U18’s the last 16.

Our conference teams are also thriving with our U18C team winning the league and U14C finishing 2nd in their 1st season.

That being said, it’s not about the wins & losses, numbers of players or the level we compete at, it’s about the impact on lives, developing great people not just great players and building an amazing community that care for and support each other week in week out!

Congratulations to Nathaniel Daley on being selected for the U14 Boys England Talent Program 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Nathaniel just finished his 3rd season with Elite since joining as a U12 and has gone from strength to strength dominating in U14 Premier this season and now moving up into U16 Premier for the 2026/27 Season.

EYBL U20 SUPER FINAL - TEAM MVP

Joao Paulo Prado (U18) dominated in the EYBL U20’s all Season long as well as in the Super final to finish the EYBL Season number 1 in 3 categories across the whole of EYBL U20’s.

Joao Paulo started with Sheffield Elite at age 12 coming to the first ever trial and has now represented his national team (Portugal) 3 times and now won multiple team MVP’s at EYBL.

Sheffield Elite Trials 2026/27 ‼️

U12 - Wednesday 29th of April
U14 - Monday 27th of April & Friday 1st of May
U16 - Tuesday 28th & Thursday 30th of April

Phase 1 - Open Trial for each age group X2 Sessions.

Following the Phase 1 trial

Players will be selected based on Phase 1 trials to attend either 1st or 2nd team trials (Phase 2) where the 2026/27 1st & 2nd Team Squads will be confirmed!
