We were sorry to hear that Rex, our trusty ever present Thursday night pie and pea safety boat crew, had a tumble at Rother Valley today and dislocated his shoulder.

Let's talk Boat berths !!! ...a reminder that full (and active) members of Rotherham sailing club have the option of berthing their boats here at the club for just £40 a year !!! We are one of the best value clubs anywhere in the UK. If you currently are a sailor and travel elsewhere to participate in our sport, and you want a long term solution to sailing close to your home....talk to us.

Free Lark dinghy for new family members 🚤
We've got a Lark dinghy sitting in the yard that's done its time with us, and rather than sell it on, we'd rather see it go to a family getting into sailing.
So here's the offer: any family joining Rotherham Sailing Club on a family membership (£160 for the year) can have the Lark, completely free.
It's an older boat and comes exactly as it stands — sold as seen, no warranty on condition, and any repairs or work needed would be down to the new owner. If you're handy, or know someone who's after a project boat to get a young sailor out on the water, this could be a good one.
First family to take us up on it gets it. Message the club or drop us an email at [email protected] if you're interested, and we'll discuss it!!
