(Expires 27/2/2025) We have a dedicated team with combined decades of teaching (qualified to BHS standards) and horse-care experience with both adults and children, who keep the wheels turning of this fun & friendly riding school. We hold a 5* license from Sheffield City Council and our staff are all either employed by us or are freelance and have been thoroughly vetted. All our staff are all fully insured so you can be sure that your children are in safe hands at all times. Cancellation Policy - We require a minimum 24 hours notice for cancellations. Failure to do so will result in the full price of the lesson being charged. Late Arrival - Customers should arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of the event to allow time for induction and mounting up. If bringing your own riding hats, these must conform to PAS015 a staff member prior to riding will check ALL hats. As a licensed establishment and an approved centre, we work in accordance with the Child Protection Act. This applies to anyone under the age of 18. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE MINIMUM AGE FOR OUR WOODLAND RIDES IS OVER 4 YEARS OLD (LESSONS ARE OVER 6 YEARS) & OUR MAXIMUM RIDERS' WEIGHT IS 13 STONES (82kg)

🌹 MEET ROMEO — OUR RESIDENT HEARTTHROOP IN TRAINING! 🌹

Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou... looking so handsome? 😍

For those who haven’t spotted this gorgeous lad around the yard yet, meet Romeo! He arrived a few months ago as a complete blank canvas — absolutely zero riding experience, just pure charm and muscle. 💪✨

Since joining us, our brave (and patient!) expert team has been teaching him the ropes. We’re happy to report that despite being a strong young lad, he’s been an absolute superstar student! 🎓🐴

What Romeo’s been up to:

✅ Mastered the art of looking fabulous

✅ Graduated to going out on hacks with staff (and being on his best behaviour!)

✅ Perfecting his "give me treats" eyes 🥕

He’s working hard on building up his confidence and bravery, with the goal of joining client lessons in the arena over the next few months! Keep an eye out for him around the yard and give him a wave (or a carrot) when you see him! 👋❤️

Behind the Scenes at Grenoside Equestrian Centre: Tack Cleaning & Safety Checks! 🐴🧼

When you head out on one of our lessons, hacks, or woodland walks, you can ride with confidence knowing that safety and comfort are always our top priorities!

With 23 horses working hard, maintaining all of our saddles, bridles, and girths is a huge part of our behind-the-scenes routine. Every single piece of leatherwork gets regularly cleaned, conditioned, and thoroughly safety-checked.

We inspect every buckle, strap, and bit for signs of wear and tear to ensure:
✨ Ultimate Comfort: Soft, supple leather prevents rubbing so our horses stay comfortable on the move.
✨ Top Safety: Strong, well-maintained gear keeps both horse and rider completely secure out on the trails.

It’s painstaking work that takes time, care, and plenty of elbow grease, but keeping our riders safe and our horses happy makes every minute worth it! 🐴🧽✨

It’s time to trade screen time for fresh air with our Adult Beginner Horse Riding Lessons—happening right now at our stables!

Joining the small group is the ultimate, budget-friendly way to learn. The lesson is 4pm every fortnight so you don't need to commit every Saturday afternoon to learning whilst still making regular progress. You'll master horse riding skills alongside a welcoming group of beginners who are at the exact same stage as you. No pressure, no judgment—just fun, fresh air, and new friends who share your passion.
