We avoid being ‘political’ about Pilates here at Spirit of Pilates. However, it’s really reassuring to see articles in trusted press reports about the recent Pilates boom. This article by the BBC is one, there have been others in the Independent and Guardian highlighting the lack of regulation in our industry. Here at Spirit of Pilates, we pride ourselves on the level of qualification of our team. We have all spent many hours, (and money!) attending courses, workshops and gaining teaching experience which shines through in our classes. Our clients repeatedly say one of the reasons they come to us, and why we stand out, is due to the high level of teaching. We would really welcome a regulation of some kind, and whilst that may take a while to come, for now you can rest assured that in every session at Spirit of Pilates you are in safe hands with a highly qualified and experienced teacher.
