🇬🇧 Debut

The results sheet never tells the full story.

Friday started positively with strong pace from the first session. A crash in Session 3 meant a rush to rebuild for Session 4, and then a battery issue cut our running short.

Qualifying was where experience made the difference.
In BKC, a four-minute session leaves no room for mistakes. We left the pits slightly early, missed the train of karts behind and found ourselves without a tow, which left us starting both heats from P23.

From there, it was time to race.
➡️ Heat 1: P23 → P17
➡️ Heat 2: P23 → P16
➡️ Super Heat: P15 → P22
➡️ Final: P33 → P20

The objective coming into the weekend was simple: qualify for the main final.

Mission accomplished.

To finish inside the Top 20 on our British Kart Championship debut, against the best junior drivers in the country and with limited experience in the category, is something we're proud of.
Most importantly, we've come away with a huge amount of learning that will make us stronger for the next time.

British Kart Championship | Day Two 🇬🇧

A challenging qualifying session left Jacob starting P23 for both heats, giving him plenty of work to do against one of the strongest fields in UK karting.

What followed was exactly the response we wanted to see.

Through some hard but fair racing, Jacob fought his way forward, making a number of strong overtakes and gaining valuable positions across both heats to put himself firmly back in the fight heading into Sunday.

The progress means he will start the Super Heat from P15, with one clear objective: continue moving forward and secure a place in the main final on his first British Kart Championship appearance.

A lot of learning, a lot of resilience, and still plenty to race for tomorrow. 👊

British Kart Championship | Day One 🇬🇧

A positive start to our first weekend in the British Kart Championship at PF International.

Strong pace throughout the day running comfortably in the midfield against some of the best drivers in the country. Unfortunately a sizeable incident with another competitor put us slightly on the back foot heading into tomorrow.

Part of the learning curve at this level, but plenty of positives to take forward.

Focus now shifts to qualifying and the heats tomorrow 👊
