Taylor Bevan popped into Poseidon last night and presented Jake with the his ‘bout of the day’ trophy from his performance as the Newpound Boxing Gym abc show. Let’s hope Jake has a shelf big enough to hold a trophy that’s almost as big as him!

Thank you Taylor for also presenting medals to our ‘boxers of the night’ for Mondays session, for chatting to the juniors and training with the squad.

X4 Poseidon boxers out today. Mike and Charlie at the Hampshire Finals and Tymur and Jake at the Newpound boxing event. All had tough rounds with their opponents. Jake fought in ‘the bought of the day’ and Tymur listened well to his coaches. Unfortunately unsuccessful in their fights but they all enjoyed and learnt from their experience. Well done boxers and coaches.
