Great plyometric session with !

Focusing on generating and redirecting power and speed.

Dewi has been improving immensely on these two months of training, seeing an increase in both his strength and conditioning, along with greater mobility and flexibility.

Which translates and improves his boxing sessions.
Amazing effort and discipline to follow the plan, and he's reaping the benefits. 👏🏿👏🏿

Everyone who knows me or trained with me knows that I have married an amazing woman (luckily) who happens to be a doctor. And I see and know how hard everyone works to provide the best care possible and how mistreated they are on some occasions by people they are providing care to.

In this new year, I'm opening up a few more slots as I'm fully transferring to Full Time Personal Trainer. After a though decision to leave Unite Martials in order to progress and become a better coach.
In addition to still coaching at , I'll be developing a project which hopefully, I can share with everyone in January. 🙏🏿
This new year, like for most people, marks change and improvement for me, as a coach, a husband, a friend, and a human in this society.
I want to coach and help people achieve their fitness goals and improve their health.

If you dislike public gym's, overcrowded classes and want to get healthier, stronger and faster while still eating your favourite foods, drop me a message and we can chat in order to see if my approach is the right one for you. From the ages of 15.

I'm also finishing my strength and conditioning course, therefore if you are an aspiring athlete looking to get physically better for the demands of your sport, I'm also offering S&C sessions, we're these will focus on what you need to improve for your designated sport, competition or specific target for role (ie: policeman/woman). These sessions will be at a lesser rate as I'm still learning, although I've worked in a competitive environment most of my life so I'm confident I can offer a great service.

*WHY IS RESISTANCE TRAINING BENEFICIAL FOR ANY AGE?*

Some of the more obvious benefits for resistance are:

Builds strength

Maintain bone density

Improve balance, coordination, mobility and power

Reduce your risk of falling

Maintain independence in performing activities of daily life

Increased movement range and health

But it can also help reduce the signs and symptoms of many diseases and chronic conditions in the
following ways:

Arthritis—Reduces pain and stiffness, and increasesstrength and flexibility.

Diabetes—Improves glycemic control.

Osteoporosis—Builds bone density and reduces riskfor falls.

Heart disease—Reduces cardiovascular risk byimproving lipid profile and overall fitness.

Obesity—Increases metabolism, which helps burn more
calories and helps with long-term weight control.

Back pain—Strengthens back and abdominal musclesto reduce stress on the spine

And several more benefits due to resistance training, and you can achieve these by only training consistently twice a week, 30 to 40 minutes is more than enough to see a long term difference in your body. *5 REASONS YOU SHOULD FOCUS ON CONTROLLED MOVEMENT'S IN YOU LIFT'S*

1- Less reliability on momentum:
Rather than your muscles doing most of the work, physics takes all the credit. By moving slowly and staying in control, you force yourself to apply your own strength through an entire movement.

2- Use of full range of motion:
When you perform an exercise too quickly, you end up shortchanging yourself. But by slowing down, you’re more likely to use your joint’s full range of motion, leading to greater mobility and strength.

3- Improved technique:
When you move quickly, it’s easy to let a few things slide in regards to how well you move with proper technique. Slower movements can shine a spotlight on improper form while giving you a chance to address your weaknesses.

4- Reduced risk of injury's:
Lifting with intention, good technique, and a slower speed can prevent a future injury.

5- Increased strength gains:
Ultimately, the greatest benefit of lifting slowly and removing momentum is more significant strength improvements. Slow and controlled is more effective at building strength than faster movements where your muscles are just along for the ride.
