Newfields riding school

Well after an Epic summer, we will now be closed until September 3rd, when all lessons will resume as normal 🐴

The horses will be enjoying a well deserved holiday until then and the humans will reply to all enquiry’s on our return to work ☺️.

If I could ask a small favour it would be for anyone who has joined us this summer and enjoyed lessons, pony days, clear rounds, hacks, tiny tots sessions, Sen sessions or our rider Academy to kindly leave us a review if you get a minute 🐴♥️☺️

Well our Rider Academy was a huge hit ♥️🐴💙
We absolutely loved watching you all learn and grow in confidence with your pony over the three days, both in ridden work and on the ground.
A huge thank you to our demos, talks and interactive sessions….
Martin Yardley for a super demo in liberty and trick training and the wonderful mare he brought along with him.
Lewis Mason for a really interesting hands on demo of his work as a equine Mctimoney chiropractor, pony junior loved his treatment and we all loved watching, getting hands on and learning loads!
frost for a super live demo of horse shoeing, a hugh selection of different types of shoes and an absolute wealth of knowledge, A brilliant interactive demo!
Isla Smith for showing the girls your fantastic plaiting and turn out tips and tricks and for very kindly judging our turn out parade so I didn’t have to pick!!
Tracey Cole for helping us with our mind set, giving us the tools to deal with nerves!

I was so impressed with the questions our academy riders came up with to ask our professonals and how well they engaged in each demo!

Pony day information - Thursday 13th

Pony day will go ahead tomorrow, it is forecast high temperatures so it will be a relaxed day with pony bathing and gentle indoor riding activities.

Drinks and ice lolly’s will be on hand.

We have ultimately decided to go ahead as we know the children look forwards to pony days and it may cause difficulties to get alternative child care.

Please bring clothes you are happy for the children to get wet in, apply plenty of sun cream and a cap. Packed lunch as normal.

If your child is known to struggle in the heat or would rather not attend given the temperature we will not charge a cancellation fee.

Otherwise we will see you tomorrow for another super day 🐴 # # #
