And talking of camping… here’s a little look back at the Friday! 🍻

Campers arriving and settling in, exhibitors finally getting their stands finished and grabbing some well-earned food and drinks, DJs, bands, singers and even a few prizes won at the fair! 😂🎡

The vibes were immaculate. Probably one of our favourite evenings of the whole weekend! The calm before the storm, but still loads of people on site having a great time together. 🙌

For 2026, Friday night was just for the trade, VIP anglers and campers, giving everyone chance to mingle, have a b**r and settle in before the madness began Saturday morning.

What a night it was! 🎣🍻❤️

What a weekend. 🎣💚

From Chris, Scott & Baz — THANK YOU!

When we first started talking about The BIG Fish N Show, we wanted to create something that celebrated everything brilliant about fishing, brought the established angling community together AND introduced a completely new audience to our sport.

Over 8,000 people came through the gates, with around 1 in 3 either completely new to angling or just getting started, while 36% of those who answered our age question were under 18.

But just as importantly, the established angling community turned up in force too. The feedback from exhibitors has been fantastic, with excellent footfall, engagement and sales reported across the show.

Was everything perfect? Of course not — it was year one and we learnt a huge amount. Our exhibitors are currently completing an in-depth feedback form, and we’ll use that alongside all the visitor feedback to make 2027 even better.

The response since the weekend has been incredible. There are far too many people to thank in one post, so professional media and plenty of specific posts celebrating each area of the show and everyone who helped make it happen are still to come.

For now, from the three of us, thank you to everyone who attended, exhibited, worked, fished, demonstrated, performed or supported us.

And we’re not hanging around…

2027 is already underway. 🔥

Registration of interest for 2027 exhibitors and visitors is already LIVE on our website.

Year one was just the start. 🎣💚

🎣 WANTED… CONFIRMED! 🎣

We’ve always said The BIG Fish N Show is about far more than just catching fish, and these guys are a brilliant example of exactly that.

MENDING LINES ARE CONFIRMED! 🙌

Founded by Chris Parker after experiencing first-hand how much fishing could help his own mental health, Mending Lines now uses angling to make a genuine difference to the lives of young people and adults.

From supporting mental wellbeing and SEND, to working with young people struggling in mainstream education and helping steer youngsters away from antisocial behaviour, they’re showing just how powerful getting someone out on the bank can be. 🎣❤️

And they won’t just be there talking about it…

The Mending Lines team will be getting stuck in with fun, hands-on fishing activities for children and families, alongside angling coaching and plenty of opportunities to have a go!

Whether your kids already love fishing or have never picked up a rod before, make sure you go over, meet the team and see what they’re all about.

Another fantastic organisation joining us at The BIG Fish N Show! 👏🎣

🎯 WANTED… CONFIRMED! 🎯

Another HUGE name joining us at The BIG Fish N Show… MIDDY! 🧡🎣

A proper name in British match and coarse fishing, Middy are a fully independent tackle manufacturer with a massive range covering poles, rods, reels, luggage, nets, accessories and loads more.

And they’re not just turning up with a stand…

🔥 Middy have their own LAKESIDE SWIM! 🔥

They’ll be showcasing their tackle right on the bank, with their top-end Reactacore poles on display, including the sort of flagship kit you rarely get the chance to properly see and get your hands on before buying.

🛒 Even better, Middy will be RETAILING DIRECT at the show, with loads of their gear available to buy across the weekend!

So whether you’re a serious match angler, commercial angler, looking for a new pole or just want to see what Middy are all about, make sure you get down to their lakeside plot.

Another brilliant brand confirmed for the show! 🧡
