OPERATION36 Junior Summer League & KO championship 🤩
The closing stages of our operation_36 Junior Summer League & Matchplay Knockout are coming to a thrilling climax… and what a journey it has been! 🏆🔥
Nearly 40 active junior golfers have made incredible progress again this year. Some have achieved their WHS handicaps, some have battled their way through the Operation 36 program and several have now completed Level 5️⃣ A huge milestone that any developing golfer should be incredibly proud of! 👏⛳️
But the biggest success goes far beyond the scores…
❤️ New friendships have been made.
🏆 Major trophies have been challenged.
⛳️ Confidence has grown.
🌟 County representation and selection has been achieved.
🏅 A County victory has been celebrated!
🔥 Several Faldo Regional Finalists… and even a Faldo FINALIST! 🤩
And perhaps most importantly of all…
Our junior division has now reached full capacity. 💯
That is another fantastic example of the progress, enthusiasm and positive impact this incredible young group is having on Stamford Golf Club.
Watching the children come down to the club throughout the school holidays, playing, practicing, competing, supporting each other and simply enjoying being part of the game has been an absolute pleasure to witness. 🤩
This summer has genuinely been up there with the best.
And while the trophies and achievements are fantastic, we’re hopefully watching the foundations being built for something even bigger…
