It’s fantastic to see our skaters supporting the next generation! ♥️

Otto (Ottopus) has been completing his DofE volunteering by assisting Coach Jono at our Wednesday sessions. He’s been joined by some of our older skaters, including Poppy (Power Tower) and Holly (Haggis), who’ve all caught the coaching bug and have even started planning their own sessions!

Last night the focus was wall drills, but once the games started, it looked like the older skaters might have been having even more fun than the younger ones 😄

Great session, and amazing to see future coaches stepping up and inspiring 🔥

Yesterday’s Tier 1 Junior Five Nations Roller Derby games showcased an impressive display of talent and sportsmanship, featuring three highly competitive matches.

Teams from Borderland Beasts Junior Roller Derby , Sheffield Steel Junior Rollers, and Demonburgh Junior Roller Derby all took to the track. The standard of play was exceptionally high, with all teams giving their utmost and demonstrating remarkable teamwork and determination throughout the day.

Congratulations are in order for the Borderland Beasts Junior Roller Derby, who emerged victorious and claimed the gold medal following two outstanding performances. Demonburgh Junior Roller Derby put up a strong fight and were rewarded with a well-deserved silver medal, while Sheffield Steel Junior Rollers displayed great resilience and skill to secure the bronze.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the parents, volunteers, and officials whose dedication and hard work behind the scenes made the event a success. Your support, organisation, and encouragement are greatly appreciated by everyone involved, and without you, these events would not be possible. We look forward to the Tier 2 competition in the future!

The Beasts are lacing up and ready to battle it out against the mighty Demonburgh this Sunday in the ultimate roller derby showdown.

If you were with us last year, you’ll remember the epic clash when we faced Demonburgh Junior Roller Derby in the finals and came out on top. 💪 But the Demons are back, hungry for payback, and we know they’ll be bringing everything they’ve got to the track.

This rematch is guaranteed to be fast, fierce, and full of hard-hitting derby action. 🚨💥
