It starts on the inside

Your fitness journey is never just about the weight the workouts or the aesthetic’s

The real transformation starts long before your body changes it starts in your mind your habits your triggers and the way you speak to yourself when nobody else is listening

A lot of us try to change the outside first We chase motivation punish ourselves for bad days and wonder why we keep falling back into old ways But lasting change happens when you finally stop fighting yourself and start understanding yourself

Why do you reach for comfort when you’re stressed?
Why do certain emotions make you give on yourself?
Why do old habits feel safer than growth and moving forward?
Why are you ripping yourself to shreds?

Healing those patterns is part of the journey too.

Fitness isn’t only about building muscle or losing weight. It’s about building discipline, emotional awareness, consistency, and self respect. It’s learning how to sit with uncomfortable feelings instead of escaping them. It’s choosing yourself repeatedly even on the hard days.

The strongest people in the gym aren’t always the leanest or the fastest. Sometimes they’re the ones quietly rebuilding themselves from the inside out.

Work on your mindset.
Work on your routines.
Work on the habits nobody sees.

Because when the inside changes, the outside eventually follows believe me i know cause it been a long healing journey but worth it everyday i continue to not give up!

Change how you see things not keep putting a plaster over it!

Are you being Accountable

If you want real results, you have to be accountable for everything not just the workouts.

Your nutrition
Your daily movement
Your sleep
Your water intake

This is where progress is built.

It’s not the one workout that changes your body it’s the habits you repeat every single day. The choices no one else sees. The discipline when motivation is gone the showing up daily for yourself

When something not going well that when we don’t want to be accountable we want to hide away but that the important time to be accountable through the good the bad an the ugly

Drink the water
Hit your steps
Fuel your body properly
Get the sleep your body this is an important one too

No shortcuts No excuses Just consistency is whats key

You don’t need perfect you need commitment to yourself

Lock in the basics, stay accountable, and watch your goals unfold an feel your best!

Health conditions, injuries, obstacles… every journey has bumps along the way but they don’t have to stop us.

After a vitreous haemorrhage left me unable to train or even lift something as simple as shopping bags, I had to shift my focus. Instead of thinking on what I couldn’t do, I leaned into what I could control. For me, that meant walking which can be tricky with other health things but keeping my body moving and my mind strong was key.

It’s not always about pushing harder. Sometimes it’s about adapting, being patient, and showing up in a different way.

The key is this that you have to want to be your best self whatever that looks like in the moment.

My biggest goal is and always will be overall health and longevity.

I have health conditions, but I don’t let them define me. I work with them, adjusting and adapting whenever needed. Because no matter what comes your way if its health conditions, injuries, or obstacles there is always a way forward.

Every journey has bumps. Don’t stop at them. Find a way over, around, or through and keep moving forward. 💪

This is your sign you’re stronger than you think or give yourself credit for you can do it you just have to want to for the right reasons!

Every come back gets you stronger

168 hours in a week… how many do you actually spend on you?

We show up every day as mums, grandparents, daughters, partners, employees constantly giving, supporting, caring, and putting everyone else first And somewhere in the middle of all that…
We forget about ourselves

But you can’t pour from an empty cup.

Taking time for your health isn’t selfish it’s necessary It’s what gives you the energy, strength, and mindset to be the best version of yourself for everyone in your life

Whether it’s 20 minutes of movement, a walk to get some fresh air, a workout, or simply choosing to fuel your body better it all counts.

Start small. Stay consistent. Show up for YOU.

Because you deserve to feel strong, confident, and healthy not just for others, but for yourself too its important!

Rig Strength 💪

This class isn’t just about getting stronger it’s about building confidence in yourself.

We run the same workout for 6 weeks, giving everyone the chance to really focus on improving their form, increasing their weights, and seeing real progress week by week.

No guessing. No starting from scratch every session. Just consistent progress.

Watching people realise they’re stronger than they thought is the best part of this class to me.

Consistency is key. Show up and trust the process.

Building Strong bodies inside and out!

PHYSICAL vs EMOTIONAL HUNGER

Not all hunger is the same and learning the difference can help you work with your fat loss and goals.

Physical hunger:

Builds gradually
You feel it in your stomach
Any food sounds good
You’re satisfied after eating

🧠 Emotional hunger:

Comes on suddenly
Cravings for specific “comfort” foods
Eating past fullness
Often followed by guilt

Here’s the truth: Emotional eating doesn’t mean you lack discipline. It usually means you’re stressed, tired, bored, or overwhelmed.

Before you eat, try asking yourself:
👉 “What am I actually feeling right now?”
👉 “Would I eat something nutritious or am i chasing that quick dopamine hit??

Awareness is power. When you slow down and identify the type of hunger, you take back control.

Chronic illness does not mean you cant reach your goals.

It just means you approach them differently.

Fitness is not a one size fits all journey. And if you’re navigating fatigue, flare-ups, pain, or unpredictable symptoms believe me i know how hard this can all be but that doesn’t mean you can’t become stronger. It means your plan needs strategy, flexibility, and compassion built into it.

It’s not about pushing you past your limits.
It’s about understanding them, work with them, and gradually expand them.

Some weeks will look strong.
Some weeks will look like recovery, mobility, or simply showing up.

Both count.

Progress with chronic illness isn’t about intensity every day.
It’s about consistency over time.
It’s about building resilience without burning yourself out.
It’s about becoming the strongest version of YOU not someone else.

Your condition may change your pace.
It may change your programming.
But it does not change your worth or your potential.

If you’re living with chronic illness and thinking fitness isn’t for you — I promise you, it is. You just need the right support and the right approach.

train smart.
train sustainably.
And keep moving forward towards your goals.

This is your sign to stop letting it consume you and hold you back!

Remember only you can make the changes needed!
