Linlithgow Rose - 2
The boys fought out a closely contested match last night in torrential conditions 🌊🌧️🌧️🌧️ against a well organised and talented Linlithgow Rose side, eventually going down 1–2 at the University.
With 9 of our squad absent, the Maroons fielded an experimental 11 including x4 trialists. Despite this, the lads displayed structure, desire, and real fight throughout with all trialists showing up very well indeed 👌
The only thing missing was a bit of cohesion perhaps and the kind of match sharpness which comes with more minutes on the pitch. That said, as far as opening pre‑season matches go, this was encouraging stuff from the home side, with plenty to build on, and plenty to be excited about!

The boys enjoyed a cracking game of footgolf last night to officially bring our 25/26 season to a close! Some great shots, some very funny ones 😅, brilliant camaraderie throughout and a few coaches needing physio the day after… 🤣
