Today we travelled to Cadbury Athletic in the Open Cup, and what a way to start the season! 👏🏼

The first half was a very even contest, with Cadbury taking the lead from a free kick to go 1-0 up at half-time 👏🏼

We came out stronger in the second half and started to dominate, creating several good chances. From a Marshall corner, the ball fell perfectly for Kyreece to strike and, with a slight deflection, it found the back of the net. 1-1! ⚽️

With the game still level after 90 minutes with Cadburys strong performance at the back, it went to penalties. The boys showed fantastic composure under pressure, with Alfie producing THREE magnificent penalty saves 🧤🔥. His performance was outstanding throughout the game, sweeping up everything behind the defence and giving the team huge confidence at the back.

Then came the decisive moment… Cejai stepped up and calmly buried our 6th penalty to send the Saints through to the next round! 🏆🔥

This was the first competitive game these lads have all played together, and I couldn’t be prouder. We fully deserved the result and showed some great foundations of how we want to play.

There’s plenty more to learn, improve and develop as a group, but the bond within this team is already strong. ❤️

A massive well done to every player today. The effort belief were there for all to see.

We’re delighted to confirm the signing of Tavai ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Tavai joins the Saints with a wealth of experience, having spent several years playing in the Premier League, alongside high-level MJPL football with Alvechurch, and most recently Redditch United.

A quick, powerful and direct player, Tavai brings a real attacking threat to the squad. His pace, strength, direct running and natural eye for goal make him a player who can cause problems for any defence. He has the ability to take players on, get in behind and finish, adding another exciting dimension to our attacking options.

His experience at a high level, combined with his quality and desire to attack, will bring a new dynamic to the team and give us another exciting option going forward.

“Tavai is a really exciting addition to the squad. He’s quick, strong and very direct, and he has a real eye for goal. His experience of playing Premier League football, as well as high-level MJPL and more recently with Redditch United, means he already understands what it takes to compete at a good level.

Kyreece joins the Saints from Sutton Coldfield Town, bringing with him valuable experience gained at a good level of football.

A strong attacking midfielder with a great footballing brain, Kyreece has an excellent understanding of the game and reads situations well. His ability to find space, make the right decisions and spread the ball effectively will give us another quality option in the middle of the pitch.

His experience with Sutton Coldfield Town means he already understands the demands and intensity of playing at a good level, giving us confidence that he can hit the ground running in a Boldmere shirt.

We’re delighted to confirm the signing of Dontae ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Dontae joins the Saints from Boldmere Falcons, bringing with him many years of experience playing at the standard we’ll be facing this season.

A fast and technical winger who is comfortable using both feet, Dontae gives us another exciting option in the attacking areas. His pace, ability on the ball and confidence to take players on will add a real threat to our forward play.

His experience at Falcons means he already knows the demands and intensity of this level, which should allow him to settle quickly and make an impact. We’re looking forward to seeing his attacking qualities and creativity in a Saints shirt.

“Dontae is a player we’re really pleased to bring into the squad. He’s quick, technically very good and can use both feet, which gives us plenty of flexibility in the wide areas.

We’re delighted to confirm the signing of Prince ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Prince joins the Saints from Phoenix Utd, having played a year above his age group for the last few seasons. That experience of competing against older players has helped him develop physically and tactically, and he brings a wealth of experience playing at a high level.

A strong and composed centre-back, Prince gives us a real presence at the back. His strength, positioning, ability to read the game and confidence in 1v1 situations will be a valuable addition to our defensive unit. Playing up a year for several seasons has undoubtedly helped toughen him up and develop his game beyond his years.

Ethan joins us after playing for our other Boldmere side in Division One, bringing with him plenty of experience competing at a high level. A powerful striker with an excellent left foot, he adds real quality and competition to the squad.
