Tonight we’re heading to North Wilts Taekwon-Do for our Sovereign Black Belt Pre-Grading session.

⚫ Black Belt Pre-Grading
7:00pm–8:00pm
Open to all Red Belts and above

🥋 White doboks please.

⚠️ This session is essential for those grading on 3rd October, so please make every effort to attend and use the opportunity to sharpen up your preparation.

North Wilts classes are also running as usual:

🥋 SOVEREIGN BLACK BELT PRE-GRADING 🥋

Our next Black Belt Pre-Grading takes place this Friday at North Wilts TKD.

This session is for those preparing for the next stage of their Black Belt journey, with the focus firmly on standards, preparation and giving your best.

⚠️ All Red Belts and above must wear a full white dobok, unless agreed with us in advance.

🥉 A BRONZE MEDAL DELIVERY FOR TOMMY! 🥋👏

A lovely moment at training last night as Tommy was finally presented with his bronze medal from last month’s Global Taekwondo International - GTI Junior Open! 🥉

Tommy had to leave the competition before the medals were awarded, so a huge thank you to Mr Newman, who very kindly dropped it in for him so we could make sure it reached its rightful owner. ❤️

We’re really proud of you, Tommy — a well-deserved medal and another great achievement to add to the collection! 👊🥋

🥋 EVERY CLASS COUNTS – EVEN IN THE SUMMER! ☀️

We know the summer holidays change everyone’s routine. There are holidays, days out, family plans, work commitments and plenty of other things competing for your time.

But whether you’re 4 or 64, if you’re around, keep training! 💪

Regular Taekwon-Do classes help us all to:

🥋 Keep techniques and patterns fresh – time away can make things surprisingly easy to forget!

💪 Maintain fitness, strength and flexibility

🧠 Keep focus, confidence and routine

🎯 Keep progressing towards your next goal or grading

👊 Stay connected with your instructors and training partners

⭐ Benefit from quieter summer classes – smaller classes can often mean more individual coaching and time to work on the things you personally need to improve.

For our younger students, keeping some routine through the holidays can be really valuable.

For our teenagers and adults, it’s a great opportunity to keep momentum going, work on individual goals and avoid having to find that fitness again in September!

You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to make every single session.

But every class you do make counts.

We’re excited to be introducing new age categories for this year’s competition.

Our aim is simple – to create fairer, more balanced divisions and an even better competition experience for everyone.

Age Categories
🟢 Juniors – 4–12 years
🔵 Cadets – 13–17 years
🔴 Adults – 18–30 years
⚫ Seniors – 30+ years

As with all competitions, categories may be combined or adjusted where necessary depending on entry numbers.

This is something new for Sovereign, and we’d love to hear your feedback after the event. We hope these updated divisions will encourage even more competitors to get involved and enjoy the day.
