Ferndale Reds 2–1 Croft Blues ⚽️🔴

Really impressed with this team right now. Another mature performance that showed just how much these boys are progressing, both individually and as a squad.

The work we’ve been doing on mentality and understanding of the game, alongside Eghosa’s work on their passing, shooting and technical ability, really came together today.

Some brilliant individual performances throughout. Warren was solid from start to finish, Kayden controlled the middle, the defence was excellent, Jacob led brilliantly again, Dom was superb at centre-back and Riley never stopped battling.

Man of the Match: Billy 🏆 — a fantastic performance on the wing.

Coming back from last week’s defeat with a performance and result like this shows real resilience and character.

Very proud of the whole group. Well done, boys! 👏⚽️🔴

🔴⚫ U14 Reds | Match Report ⚫🔴

The Under 14 Reds were away to Stratton Lions for a lunchtime kick-off, and they brought plenty of intensity from the first whistle.

The boys worked hard against a resilient Stratton side, with goals either side of half-time helping Ferndale take control and secure a comfortable 7–1 victory. 💪⚽

A fantastic team effort from start to finish — great work, lads! 👏

Super effort! ❤️🖤

⚽ U14 Match Report ⚽

The U14s travelled to Supermarine for a late-morning kick-off and put in a really determined performance. 💪

An early goal from Musana got Ferndale off to a great start and put us in front. There were plenty of chances at both ends, but Ferndale created enough opportunities to feel the game was there for the taking.

Unfortunately, a defensive error resulted in a penalty for Supermarine, which they converted to earn a point from the game.

A decent performance from the lads, with plenty of positives to take forward. Well done, Ferndale! 👏⚽

⚽🖤 U7 Blacks Match Day! 🖤⚽

The U7 Blacks were away today against Blunsdon, and what a great game it was! Both teams played some fantastic football, with plenty of goals and lots of excitement throughout. 👏

Ferndale showed some brilliant passing, great communication and fantastic teamwork on the pitch. It was lovely to see the players working together, supporting each other and putting into practice what they’ve been learning.

Well done to both teams for a great game! Keep up the fantastic work, Ferndale! 💪⚽🖤

U16s update
After a good start to the league with two wins and two draws, attention turned to the cup with a trip to Royal Wotton Bassett.
The league game between the two sides finished 1-1 a couple of weeks ago.
Ferndale made a slow start and despite trying, didn’t create much and a long ball over the top saw the Bassett striker in on goal and give Bassett the lead. Two free kicks conceded by Ferndale gave Bassett further chances, which they took and saw the first half end 3-0 to Bassett. After some half time words, Ferndale improved and a ball into the box from Olly saw Alfie finish at the back post. Game on, not for long as Bassett added a fourth,
Ferndale kept working and had a couple of chances from crosses but Bassett stood firm and they added a fifth right at the end to progress to the next round 5-1.
Tough game against a good side, we know we can do better and that is the aim for next week. Player of the match was Theo, worked and battled hard in midfield against some very good players

🦅⚽ U13 EAGLES vs ASHTON KEYNES ⚽🦅

🏠 First home game of the season — and what a way to do it!

The Eagles came flying out this morning, creating plenty of chances in the first half, but a strong Ashton Keynes defence and some great goalkeeping kept us at bay.

Eventually, Noah broke the deadlock to make it 1–0! 🔥

Some fantastic wing play from Riley then created the opportunity for Harry to finish, giving Eagles a deserved 2–0 lead at half-time.

The second half was all about taking our chances! 💪

Harry completed his hat-trick 🎩⚽⚽⚽, while Riley got the goal he deserved after a fantastic performance and a few assists along the way.

Mukundi then rounded things off with a brilliant long-range effort that flew in off the post! 🚀🥅

Ashton Keynes showed great determination and managed to pull one back, but the Eagles continued to push and finished the morning with a fantastic 7–1 victory! 👏🔥

⭐ Man of the Match: Harry — a brilliant hat-trick! Well deserved! 👏

A really solid team performance from start to finish. Huge credit to every player — fantastic effort 🦅❤️🖤
