The gaffer was out and about watching the stars of the future this past weekend, as we held our annual tournament at The Imagine Cruising Stadium complex.

It was a great turn out and Bobby was delighted to see an array of talent on show, telling club media “It was a brilliant tournament. The volunteers did a fantastic job in putting it on and there was a lot of talented youngsters out there. It was great to see the chairman here as well, alongside a number of board members, creating a real sense of togetherness and community”.

“I want to send a big thank you to everyone who came along. It was great to be a part of and to watch everyone from under 6’s up to under 12’s. The success of the tournament is a huge credit to our football club and I’m delighted for all the youth managers and everyone part of that group, especially Matt and Mike”.

BE PART OF THE CLUB

We’ve got some exciting roles to announce ahead of the 2026/27 season, and are taking interest and applications for a strength and conditioning coach, and an assistant kitman.

The club is run and maintained by a group of exceptional volunteers, so these roles will be voluntary, though all expenses will be paid for by the club.

And A Partridge In SN3

It’s not the first day of Christmas just yet, but this signing is worth waking up early for. We are thrilled to announce the arrival of highly rated defender, Jowan Partridge.

Jowan returns to Wiltshire after completing his university studies and winning the Players Player for Shepshed Dynamo, making 43 appearances. Bobby was delighted to fend off opposition to capture Jowan’s signature, telling club media “He is a gifted centre half, quick, fast, has beautiful left foot, he’s technically very good on the ball and defends very well. There were a lot of clubs after him and he has turned down opposition from the league above to come to us, so I’m delighted he’s here and can’t wait to work with him”.

Walt-zing In From The Play Off Winners

19 goals in 42 matches is an exceptional return that would open the eyes of teams from higher up the pyramid, which is why we are delighted to announce that Piers Walton has committed to Swindon Supermarine ahead of the upcoming campaign.

The attacker joins from play off winners Malvern Town, after a fantastic season in front of goal, and Bobby Wilkinson was delighted to capture the signature of Piers, telling club media “Piers is someone I’ve admired from afar for a little while. He was fantastic for Malvern last season. He’s tricky, full of energy, and knows where the goal is. I’m very excited to be working with him, and think he is a real statement signing for this football club”.

This One’s A Rhys-on To Smile

We are delighted to announce the signing of Rhys Tyler from Hungerford Town. The left back reunites with his former gaffer, Bobby Wilkinson, here in SN3, after a long spell in Berkshire.

Having won 2 promotions with the Crusaders under Bobby, Rhys brings experience, a calm head and versatility to the side. A former professional in Germany, Bobby was delighted to prise Rhys to The Imagine Cruising Stadium, telling club media “Rhys is an unbelievable one on one defender and a really great human being. He played professionally in Germany before joining me at Hungerford, and I’m very excited to be working with him again. He helped me get promoted to the Conference South and that wealth of experience only benefits the football club here”.

Versatility. The ability to adapt easily to many different functions, activities or tasks. In our case, T’awana Changa fits that mould perfectly and we are delighted to confirm he has committed to the club for 2026/27.

A breakthrough season for the youngster saw him pick up many admirers in Marine colours, fast becoming a fans favourite for his crunching tackles, his vision and his assured ability to play in central midfield and at left and right back.

Bobby Wilkinson was delighted to see T back in Marine colours for 2026/27, saying “He was a huge player for us last season. He filled gaps at important points in the season when we had injuries and suspensions. He was fantastic for me and to add his versatility to the squad for the season ahead, is massive for us. He’s still learning and growing and I’m excited to work with him again this season”.

Four Faces Leaving Marine

With the announcements of our new signings, we wanted to confirm the departures of the following four players.

Max Hemmings, Frankie Monk, Piotr Petrynski and Sid Gbla have left the club.

Piotr returns to Chippenham, whilst Max, Frankie and Sid have left to explore other opportunities and more playing time.

Bobby Wilkinson told club media “The lads who have left the club came in at a tough time for this football club. Their one ask was to steady the ship. They succeeded in helping us do that. We are having to bolster the squad for pre-season to add to the competitiveness left by the lads departures. They were first class professionals during their time here and they all leave with mine and the clubs best wishes for whatever comes next for them”.

We echo those words, wishing Max, Frankie, Piotr and Sid all the very best in what comes next. 💙
