🌟 Charles Burrell Centre 🌟

As all of my followers will know, we've been located within the Charles Burrell Centre for almost 9 years this November.

As with any amount of time, we've seen a lot of changes here over the years, lots of businesses coming and going but the one thing that has stood out of late is how much option is here for health and fitness.

And we'd like to share the small business making a big impact to our local communities, keeping them fit, strong, resilient and happy.

Currently, there are a lot of choices for Thetford and surrounding areas within the CBC.

Of course there is The Functional Fitness Suite which we run out of. A Private hire gym, small group training facility.

Then there is our close friend of Tiger Fitness, The Gym Van who has his studio directly below us (The GVC) offering personal training and small group PT sessions.

Across the hall from us is The Pink Fitness Boutique who offers female only classes.

New Tennant Rise & Ride Cycling Studio who offer spinning for everyone.

This is just in our small section of the building!!

Downstairs we have Centre Stage Studio who offer a wide variety of dance classes .

There are also long term sessional hires including the wonderful Zumba LouLou, offering a range of classes for different abilities.

The centre really is becoming a hub for health and well-being.

Of course, we are nothing without your support. We all appreciate every single one of our members who entrust us and pay us to be here and open.

Please carry on supporting us!! The service you get from our small business, far outweighs any large commercial facilities. Our over heads keep rising but we continue to fight because we love what we do and you guys are the reason we turn up, everyday.

Precious moments like these are just as important as the classes themselves. Our students really are one big family, dancers over all the age groups connecting together between classes. Who else loves a waiting room catch up 😍💙

IDTA EXAM RESULTS - SESSION 2

Wow!! The results are in for our IDTA Tap & Jazz exams and what a great set of results they are. Once again the studio is keeping its 100% pass rate with Merits & Distinctions (some super high ones too!)

Well done everyone you should all be super proud of yourselves 💙💙💙

NEW CLASS ALERT!

We’re excited to be launching our adult Tap classes on the 7th of September due to popular demand. This will be an open level class, whether you’re starting a new hobby or if you’re wanting to put your tap shoes back on and get moving, this class is for you!

It’s no secret that Tap dance is my absolute favourite genre of dance, I can’t wait to have a weekly tap jam with this class to great songs. I have been teaching Tap as well as many other genres for 9 years now and I also hold two National Tap Masters Titles, so don’t worry you’re in good hands.

IDTA EXAM RESULTS - Session one

We have our results from our IDTA exam session one which included Ballet exams from Primary up to Grade 4 and Grade 4 Jazz exams. I’m delighted to say the studio still holds its 100% pass rate with the IDTA, everyone PASSED with Merits & Distinctions.

Absolutely amazing news all round, all of your hard work and dedication has paid off and we can’t wait to hand out your awards when we’re back in September. We’re still waiting for our session two results, but I know you will have all smashed those too.

DAY 3 - HIGHLIGHTS 💙

SUMMER INTENSIVE - DAY 4
WOW what a way to finish our 2026 summer intensive. We started the day with the Fabulous Josh Flegg who came in and taught three incredible classes in Acro & Commercial, you gave the crew so much energy and I loved watching their confidence blossom through your classes. Thank you so much for coming in and teaching for us 🫶🏻

Then we finished off with our wonderful Ella Price (who is no stranger to the studio), Ella beasted them all with a body conditioning class which they all got stuck in to and left it all in the studio. After this Ella then taught kicks leaps turns alongside me. Thank you for coming in Ella and motivating them all, we love seeing your face at the studio 🫶🏻

Everyone has just been outstanding this week, I’ve loved seeing you all put so much effort in, and learning new skills that you didn’t think you could do. You all pushed yourself and became even better than you was when you arrived 💙

I still have day 3 & 4 highlights to post, but for now …… summer intensive 2026 OVER AND OUT ✌🏼 💙

SUMMER INTENSIVE - DAY 3
Yet another fantastic day at the summer intensive today, we started with ballet conditioning and jazz tech, then Alice taught three amazing classes in commercial and Tap. Thank you so much for coming in and inspiring the gang.
Tomorrow is our last day where we have; Acro, Commercial, Conditioning and KLT 💙💙💙
