Food & Judgements 🍏 🍪
So I’ve just watching a reel that posted that really fu***ng resonated with me.
My diet gets judged a lot, and I get comments almost daily on it. Why? Because I snack lots and it’s usually something society deems as “unhealthy”. I don’t count macros. I don’t bring in bro meals to work. I eat Nutella every day. So this makes people feel that they have the right to say flippant remarks against my diet 🙄🙃
Just because you don’t see someone munching on veggies 24/7 or if you see them snack more than you see them eating a meal, does NOT mean their diet is bad.
Judging others food choices is unhelpful, unnecessary and in some cases detrimental to the person you are judging.
It could have taken someone a lot of mental energy to actually eat that day, so saying that what they are eating is bad, can be extremely triggering.
One snack or one meal of someone’s day in no way dictates what other things they are eating within the day. Even if you see them eating that “unhealthy” thing on a regular basis, that still does not mean you have the right to comment.

Went back to my EF roots and did a circuits class today… everyone SMASHED it (considering they were expecting body pump 🤣😭🤦🏼♀️)

Stop waiting for everything to be perfect, to be the “right time”.
Just take the first step, even if it’s a baby step. Figure it out as you go along. Nothing is guaranteed in life, so just go for it 💜

Walking is the more underrated form of exercise!
The past month, I haven’t been able to workout, but I have been able to go on walks with my furry partner in crime 🐶 Not only does is help you get those steps in, but…
‼️ it keeps your body moving
‼️ low impact exercise alternative (kind on your joints)
‼️can help elevate your mood
‼️good distraction activity
If you can get yourself out, especially in nature, then do it! And if you have a doggo, you definitely have no excuse. I’ve even seen people lead up their cats and take them for walks (you know who you are ahaha).
Sometimes it’s not realistic for people to go to the gym. Why? Could be too far away, financial reasons, recovering from an injury/surgery or could be a lack of self confidence.
I’m not saying that walking is better than the gym, just that it is a realistic alternative if you can’t go to the gym or do a home workout 💜

Throwback to when I pushed myself so hard in the gym I thought I was gonna throw up 🤣😭
I’ve been lacking a little with fitness content recently, but I have been so busy with covid, family, work etc that training hasn’t been a priority. And that’s OKAY! Fingers crossed I’ll be able to do a couple sessions next week 🤞🏼
I’ve been thinking of starting a “WOD Wednesday” series and posting a WOD each Wednesday for you guys (and me 👀) to do. Who is up for that?! 💪🏼
