A few pictures from today - even managed some riding for my little humans and there sister and cousin 🤩🐴 they even had Aunty Andy and Dad leading them 😆

My little Leo is in LOVE with Ricki the lovely Shire so I promised him he could have a wander in the yard on her, what an absolute superstar she is 🥹❤️🐴

Looking forward to a cooler week and hopefully soon rain 😆🌧️🤞🏼

These are open to both new and existing customers, I’m still chipping away at enquires after work and Fundays and Stable Management sessions, I have barely been home - so you haven’t been forgotten I’m just chasing hours at the moment, but theses are a great way to get booked in if they fit your around weekend plans, but I will be doing 2/3 hours Monday afternoon at more enquires at least 🐴🐎

Had a lovely Experienced funday with everyone riding independently on Tuesday 🐴☺️
Working on soft hands and smooth transitions, testing core strength and balance, practicing better posture riding 3 varied horses or pony’s throughout the day, riding bare back and exploring each horses individual needs, lifestyles and tack 🐴 lots of laughs and a grand day all around 💪🏻⭐️🐎

Hi Guys,

Another super busy week at the Stables and a lovely weekend of riding in the sunshine - I’m now counting down the days until a day off 🤣😴🐴

We had our usual annual inspection last week with lovely comments in regards to everyone! The vet took an extra shine to both Ricki and Bailey 🤩🐴 everyone’s tack was full checked thoroughly with a full re check of everyone’s health, eyes, hearts and transitions and movements 💪🏻🐴

Ricki and Hannah have been out this afternoon for a tootle and both been fully bathed in there lotions and potions thanks to Vicki 💪🏻🧽🫧 With Hannah and Creamie having a full mane plait up to keep them comfortable 💆🏼‍♀️💈

We have had lots of smaller riders this afternoon (2 been my own) and some new faces over the weekend riding out with us in the countryside - it’s been lovely to meet you all 🐎🤩🫶🏼
Our farrier has been out again (he’s with us nearly every week 🤣) and everyone is upto scratch with fresh shoes and our lovely clipping lady is here this week commencing to trim some feathers off and have a whizz around while my clippers are out of action ✂️

We have another Funday and Stable Management day this week that are both full but I will be trying my best to arrange ones ASAP for the next term as they are in huge demand 🤩🐴

We spent all afternoon and evening Friday night ragworting another 2 fields after lockdown with pizza as motivation - our helpers did AMAZING!! Such good company and lots of laughs and we absolutely smashed the assignment 🤩💪🏻🍕🪏

We have started on our new ‘hay pens’ today (travel cots) in the retirement fields and the goldie oldies had a nosey and approved ☺️ These travel cots help reduce the waste and contain there hay while it’s safe for the goats not to get tangled up in 😆
I will be getting in touch with everyone who has offered us one tomorrow after work and the vets and the feed shop stock up 🐴☺️🌾

ISO ☺️🙏 TRAVEL COTS 🛏️ (x7) 🤣

(Don’t worry I’m definitely not having another human 🤣)

I’m after travel cots for the horses hay in some of the fields 😆 there light to move and stop the horses toileting on there food and it stops it blowing around ☺️🐴🌾

So if anyone has a spare travel cot or knows anyone that does going for free we’d be ever so grateful, I’ll also be posting on the freecycle groups, if there a little grubby not to worry I can easily jet wash them off as long as there stable and still go up and down and ideally have the mat base ☺️ happy to collect locally throughout the week TIA ☺️

What a lovely first Funday of the Holidays ☀️🐴🧽☺️🐎🫶🏼

We are now FULLY BOOKED all holiday activities - I’m so sorry to anyone that had missed out we will be doing more in the October half term and I’m trying to squeeze an extra stable management session in at the end of August if I can get help with my own children ☺️🐴

We do have some extra space available for rides though on the weekends with people on holiday and a gorgeous new horse Ricki 😍 and Hannah is back out of a long deserved maternity leave and will be adding some rides for fitness with myself over the next few weeks to get back in the swing of things and fit and muscling up developing more top line and hind muscle ☺️🐴

Not many pictures today as we have been so busy but I can imagine everyone that attended will sleep well (I know I will 🤣) after a very busy equestrian day learning how to look after there horses as well as enjoying a ride in the countryside and finished off with pony painting and a full body bath for our favourite four legged friends 🐴🐎💦🎨

And as always the biggest thank you to our wonderful experienced helpers who adore the horses and are a pleasure to have and help support both equines and riders - you are fabulous!! ⭐️🫶🏼⭐️

More ragworting this week after lockdown there never is a day off and what a better way to spend the summer than with these beautiful animals and some cheeky late pizza nights ☺️💪🏻
