What a week, it’s been equal measures of lovely & exhausting 🫠🫠🫠🫠
Balancing work & trying to be present at home doesn’t come easy as I’m sure many of you know but we try our bests 🫶🏻

✨ SCHOOL HOLIDAY DO’S + DON’TS ✨
The school holidays don’t have to mean “all or nothing” when it comes to your health, movement & routine 🤍
A few simple habits can help you feel energised, organised & less overwhelmed while still enjoying the slower pace with the kids 👏
Not ending the week feeling like exhausted and like you let yourself go 🫠
✔️ Plan your week ahead
✔️ Prioritise daily movement (even just extra steps!)
✔️ Keep workouts simple & fun
✔️ Pack snacks so you’re not caught out hungry
✔️ Stay hydrated & make time to recharge
And most importantly…
❌ Don’t panic if your routine isn’t perfect
You are NOT losing progress because life looks different for a couple of weeks 💫 Balance is the goal, not perfection

Things that are IN & OUT for me right now as a 40 year old mum of 4 trying to feel GOOD physically & mentally 💛👇🏼
✨ IN:
✔️ Lifting weights regularly
✔️ Walking every day 12,000 in my step goal 💪🏻
✔️ Prioritising protein & Fibre - 80% whole foods
✔️ Drinking 2-3 litres of water per day so my skin looks good and I feel good
✔️ Better morning routines, waking up that little bit earlier⏰
✔️ Looking after my skin & health
✔️ Protecting my energy 🔋
✔️ Doing things that make me feel confident
✔️ Building habits I can actually sustain
🚫 OUT:
❌ Late nights for no reason, it affects my whole week 🪫
❌ Sugary drinks, no Thankyou!
❌ Internet quick fixes & fad diets
❌ Negative self talk
❌ Comparing myself to people online
❌ Skipping meals, absolute no 🙅🏼♀️
❌ Snoozing my alarm 10 times 😅
At this stage of my life I’m not chasing perfection anymore,
I’m chasing energy, strength, confidence and balance ⚖️
I want to feel healthy in a way that actually fits around being a busy mum, work, family life and everything else that comes with it 🙃
The biggest thing I’ve learned?
Small habits done consistently matter WAY more than extreme plans and it’s so important to value yourself and your well being 🫶🏻

2 weeks ago my client signed up for coaching… and she’s already 3kg down 👏🏼
But the biggest win isn’t just the scale moving — it’s the mindset shift 🫶🏻
The first week wasn’t about restriction or perfection
We focused on:
✨ Tracking habits
✨ More nutritious meals, protein & fibre
✨ Less snacking
✨ More movement
And even when life threw a few curveballs her way, she didn’t quit. She checked in and said:
“I’ll try my best.”
That’s the difference
Because there will ALWAYS be something:
→ Work
→ Family commitments
→ Illness
→ Injuries
→ Stress
You cannot wait for the “perfect time.”
You just need to keep striving for BETTER, not perfect 🤍
Instead of thinking:
“I can’t…”
Start asking:
“What CAN I do right now?”
That mindset builds momentum
It builds trust in yourself
And over time… those small actions add up in a BIG way 💪🏼

Fat loss doesn’t need to feel confusing 👏🏼
A lot of people focus on cutting everything out, overtraining and chasing quick fixes… when really, the basics work best 👏🏼
Here’s what I’d focus on MORE of vs LESS of when trying to lose fat 👇🏼
✅ IN:
✨ Lifting weights
✨ Walking daily
✨ Eating enough protein
✨ Drinking more water
✨ Mostly whole foods- especially fibre
✨ Tracking progress properly
✨ Building habits you can stick to
✨ Feeling GOOD while doing it
❌ OUT:
🚫 Liquid calories adding up without realising
🚫 Skipping meals then overeating later
🚫 Overtraining to “burn calories”
🚫 Cutting out entire food groups
🚫 Relying on supplements instead of improving your diet
🚫 Living off “diet foods” that leave you hungry
Fat loss should support your health, energy & confidence not make your life miserable 😞
The people who get the best long-term results are usually the ones doing simple things consistently, not perfectly 💛
Focus less on extremes and more on habits you can repeat for life 🙌🏼
