Meet Ted 💙

At just 3 years old, Ted sadly suffered complications from a tumour in his back, which left him paralysed and a wheelchair user. But Ted has never allowed this to define who he is, his determination, courage and fighting spirit do.

On 27th June 2026, 11 year-old Ted will take on a challenge that many adults would think twice about, conquering the three highest peaks in the UK in under 30 hours.

This will be no ordinary climb. Ted will be carried to the summits in his wheelchair by an incredible team of supporters taking part in this unforgettable challenge, proving that with teamwork, determination and belief, anything is possible.

And this certainly isn’t Ted’s first mountain.

He has already conquered Snowdon not once, but twice, showing incredible resilience and strength. Last year, he proudly reached the summit of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK.

This year, a fantastic group of people will be taking on the challenge alongside Ted, all united in helping him achieve something truly extraordinary. I’m proud to be part of that team, alongside my two eldest sons, Ryley and Jude.

To help support this amazing cause, everyone who donates £10 to the JustGiving page will be entered into a raffle to win a signed Emi Buendía shirt ⚽️

Ted will personally draw the raffle winner once the challenge is completed at the end of June.

Winnie James after a super successful season with Ace Leipzig and Miami has been accepted to the Aston Villa U9 girls team for 26/27 season 💜💥⚽️

Winnie started at 4 years of age in our little Aces and from early her infectious smile love and determination for football ⚽️ was clear to see ..

Well done 👏 Winnie we are all very proud of you 👏

And it’s encapsulated in a story for us all ,

Around 18 months ago his little boy was upset at not scoring in training that night , he came across injured recovering from his terrible cruciate injury his simple message was

“Son I haven’t played football or scored in nearly 12 months ! “

Keep working hard , keep trying , keep believing in yourself

A coach of ours coaching that night sent me that very shortly after Emi’s amazing performance Wednesday night ..

It clearly resonated with him ..

The night he hobbled off after delivering his key message was so far away from the glory of Istanbul

ACE U11 finals day 🥳⚽️💜🏆

Yesterday we were very proud to have two teams ROMA and PSV competing in Finals 🏆

The WJYL made great effort and there was a clear buzz around the venue across the pitches 💜

We as a club experienced the joy and heartache that come with days like this 👆

Roma after gaining advantage with two great strikes from skipper Denny , ended up being defeated in a brilliant 🤩 final , although tears and despair at the end , a sense of pride from a group that is literally unchanged in four years !!

Onto PSV a tense final they went 1-0 down and then two stunning strikes from Zak put them in the lead , could they hold on ? This game had everything top saves , disallowed goals and finally the whistle came and PSV were victorious 🏆

Tears of joy this time !!

The highs and lows of football encapsulated in a morning of football ⚽️ 💜

Ultimately we are proud of All players coaches and parents !!
