This one really hit home 🥹🩷

Everyone talks about the impact a dance teacher can have on their students… but I don’t think people realise just how much our students impact us too.

There are days when you walk into the studio tired, stressed or with a million things going on behind the scenes… and then the children arrive. 🥰

They make you laugh, they work hard, they achieve something they thought they couldn’t, they give you the biggest hug, or they’re simply just happy to be there — and suddenly you remember exactly why you do it. 🩷

Over the years I’ve watched so many little dancers grow up in front of me. I’ve celebrated their first classes, exams, shows and achievements, watched their confidence grow and, in some cases, watched them go from tiny dancers to young adults. 🥹

I hope they know that while I might have played a little part in their lives, they’ve played a huge part in mine too.

SPLITZ really is so much more than just dance. 💗💙

🎉✨ OUR CHALLENGE WINNER! ✨🎉

Over the past few weeks, our Splitz dancers have had the chance to take part in our weekly challenges, and we’ve absolutely loved seeing everyone getting involved! 💕🩰

From showing off their flexibility, dancing somewhere new, learning a new dance skill, taking their Splitz uniform somewhere exciting, trying the Splitz Logo Leap and lots more, it’s been so lovely seeing the creativity, confidence and enthusiasm from our dancers! 🌟

A huge WELL DONE to everyone who took part, every challenge was completely optional, and we loved seeing you join in whenever you could! 🥰

And now for our winner… 🥁🎉

The winner was selected completely at random, as you can see in our video! 🎱✨

And it feels like an extra lovely result because Mia took part in every single challenge each week! 💕 She really embraced the whole challenge, and it was so lovely to see her getting involved every time. We definitely feel she’s a very deserving winner! 🌟

🎁 Mia will be receiving a mystery prize very soon… 👀✨

We can’t wait to see her reaction! 💕

⚡️ 1 HOUR OF ACRO… IN JUST 1 MINUTE! ⚡️

A little glimpse into our latest acro class, condensed down into 60 seconds! 🤸‍♀️🔥

Our main focus was working on cartwheel variations, aerials, front walkover variations and so much more, with plenty of other acro skills, drills and conditioning packed in too! 💪✨

So much hard work, repetition and progress goes into every skill you see here. It might look like a whirlwind in this video, but there was a LOT of learning happening in that hour! 🫶

✨ WHAT A START TO THE NEW DANCE YEAR! ✨

It has been SO lovely having everyone back at SPLITZ today! 💕 After what feels like forever, having most of the gang back together again and seeing the studios full of smiling faces, noise and dancing has been the best feeling! 🩰💙

And we’ve welcomed lots of new faces too 🥰 We hope you’ve all enjoyed your first day with us and already feel part of the SPLITZ family!

A brand new dance year AND a brand new timetable means there are bound to be a few little teething problems along the way 🙈 We’ll work through them, tweak things where we need to and get everything running smoothly.

But for tonight, I’m just so happy to see everyone back where they belong — in their happy place, dancing with their friends. 💗

And this was only DAY ONE!! 😂🙌

Here’s to another amazing year of dancing, learning, laughing, working hard and making memories together.

✨ WE’RE BACK NEXT WEEK! ✨

The countdown is officially on… SPLITZ is back from Monday 7th September and we cannot wait to see everyone back in the studios! 💗💙

A brand new dance year means new goals, new skills, lots of hard work, plenty of fun and SO much to look forward to. We’re so excited to get started and see what all of our dancers can achieve this year! 🌟

Our Autumn Term timetable is here and lots of classes are already FULL or have waiting lists, so if you haven’t booked your classes yet, please don’t leave it too late!

✨ Disney Summer School – Day Five! SHOW DAY! ✨

What a way to finish our magical Disney Summer School at Splitz Studio! 🏰🌟

Today was SHOW DAY, and our children worked incredibly hard putting the final touches to their routines before taking part in their very own recorded performance! 🎬💃🕺

They absolutely brought the magic, performing under our brand new coloured studio lighting — and WOW, what a difference it made! 🌈✨

Seeing them dancing, acting and performing with such confidence was the perfect way to finish an amazing week.

And because we couldn’t let the Disney fun stop there, the children also got creative making their very own Lion King masks 🦁🎨 — with some fantastic creations!

We are SO proud of every single one of our little stars. ❤️ They have worked hard, learned new skills, made new friends, laughed, danced and created so many wonderful memories this week.
