Defeating three Hertfordshire Girls Football Partnership League U14 Div1 teams along the way, our U14's were the Berkhamsted Raiders CFC tournament U14 Cup Runners-Up on Saturday, just losing out 3-2 on penalties in the final. A great morning of performances from the entire squad. Congratulations to Ruislip Rangers U14 girls on their victory. Winning with grace, respect & kindness.

Having played some excellent football all afternoon at the Berkhamsted Raiders CFC girls tournament, our U11's made it all the way to the final of the competition but were just edged out on penalties. Still a great achievement for the girls & plenty of positives to take forwards. Plus a debut for the club, for our new goalkeeper.....

We are delighted to officially announce that Gary Melton has agreed to take on the new role of Parent Liaison Officer.

Providing communication & support for parents of all our teams, Gary will liaise closely with the coaches & board members to ensure that any concerns or questions are managed & resolved.

Gary's enthusiasm & drive matches that of the board and we are delighted that he has offered to take on this role & already provide so much help & assistance to our new players & parents who are joining the club this season.

In their first competitive season, these players have experienced an incredible achievement. Hertfordshire Girls Football Partnership League Division Five Runners Up and Promotion next season. Learning through every game & every result, they are an amazing bunch. They have such a great future ahead.

We were deeply saddened to hear of Joel Canning’s passing on Thursday. Joel has been an inspiration to our U14 goalkeeper and has coached her for the past 3 years.

Not just a coach, but a mentor whose personality and ability to bring out the best in people will be difficult to match.

Our thoughts are with Joel’s family, everyone at GK icon and the whole football community that were graced with Joel’s infectious passion for the game.

Rest in peace Joel, and thank you for making such an impact on so many.
