We’re Salsa Machine, Harpenden’s best dance hub. Well-oiled, finely tuned, keeping the gears of groove turning. That works well for many people.

Positive energy, friendly social, & teaching of an excellent standard.
“The only machine that never breaks - except into dance." We run what are called "drop-in" classes with social dancing. However, sometimes it's a good idea to make a commitment to do something for a period of time - that way you are more likely to achieve your desired goals. Buying a subscription is a sure way to guarantee you reach your goals as research shows that by making a commitment you are 5 times more likely to succeed. As an incentive, and reward, you get a 50% discount by subscribing. You can put the money you save towards dance shoes, or music, or fritter it away on Amazon 1-Click. The offer is only open to beginners who haven't yet attended Salsa Machine. By "beginner", I mean someone who has never done Salsa before, or who has dabbled somewhere at some time, but now wants to start seriously. Don't worry about the commitment - if you aren't 100% happy with your first lesson then I will simply refund all of your money, so you can feel safe in purchase :-)

Please email or call me if you have further questions. Each week includes:
1) Two lessons.
2) 2 hours of free-style social practice dancing. You can start whenever is convenient. There is no expiry, but start as soon as you can, because the sooner you start, the sooner you'll be able to dance!

🥳❤️XMAS PARTIES❤️🥳
🎉Part 2 of 3 this WEDS 🎉
🎵Cha Cha Challenge, Rueda, Salsa🎵
🕺Every Wednesday in December is Xmas Party Night!💃🏻

This Wednesday, the 10th, is Part 2 of 3 of our ALL-DECEMBER Xmas Parties. Make sure you check out the WhatsApp Group if you'd like to recap the first section of the Cha Cha Challenge. We'll be adding the next instalment and building on our Rueda skills.

Throughout December, we will progress your dancing with Rueda moves and the Cha Cha Challenge choreography.

7:30: Rueda, 2 levels. Level 1 Salsa.
8:15: Cha Cha Challenge choreography. Level 1 & 2 Salsa.

Rueda is a group dance performed in a circle, where one person calls moves that everyone then executes in synchronisation. It rarely goes perfectly, but it's a lot of fun trying. Mistakes are all part of the entertainment, and there's no pressure - everyone is welcome to join and expand their horizons of joy and laughter.

The Cha Cha Challenge is a solo choreography danced to the Cha Cha Cha rhythm. Each week, we'll add to the sequence and see how far we get. Developing your dance skills is accelerated by trying new ways to connect your body and soul to music, and this fun challenge is just the ticket.

Really looking forward to seeing you on the dance floor 🕺💃🏻
Ben & the Machine Team.
