Here’s how✨Reiki✨can help…

Reiki is a gentle, intuitive, energy healing practice to bring your body, mind, and spirit back into balance.

The word *Reiki* comes from Japan
🌌 *Rei* = Universal
🌿 *Ki* = Life energy

This energy flows through all living things. When it’s blocked or low, we can feel it.

Reiki helps clear those blocks and get the energy flowing freely again. ✨
It’s calming, grounding, stress relieving & can be truly transformative ✨

So, what happens during a session?✨🙏🏻

First, we’ll chat a little, discover anything that’s been coming up, anything you’d like to focus on, or just how you’re feeling.

Then you’ll lie down (fully clothed) on a comfy treatment bed.
Think blankets, cushions, cozy vibes. Fully supported, in total relaxation.

I gently place my hands on or just above your body moving to different areas intuitively.
You don’t need to do a thing—just breathe and relax.

You might feel:
✨ Warmth
✨ Tingling
✨Tension release
✨ A deep stillness
✨ Or even drift off to sleep
(That’s totally welcome!)

Sessions last 60 minutes-90 minutes (2 options available)

Afterwards, we’ll gently check in—you’re welcome to share anything that came up, or just float back into your day.

Join me in the beautiful roundel room at The Herne Centre, Herne Bay, for this incredibly special small group workshop 🧘🏻‍♀️✨

If you’ve never practiced restorative yin, you can expect relaxing yoga asana, guided with props and plenty of support. We will spend longer in incredibly relaxing postures, laying down to help you access deeper rest & release on a physical, emotional and spiritual level. We will practice mindful pranayama to aid our deep release followed by a restorative guided relaxation in which each participant will receive a taster of healing Reiki energy. ✨

This workshop is specially designed so you can enjoy a personal & specialised experience.

Start your Yoga, Meditation and Healing Therapy Journey with Lucy at Awaken Within

I’ve had a lot of new followers recently so I thought I’d say hello!

My names Lucy🙋🏻‍♀️I’m an advanced 500hr Yoga alliance trained Yoga Teacher, Reiki Healer, Meditation Teacher, Yoga for 12 Step Recovery Spaceholder, Restorative Yin Yoga teacher, Pre and Natal Yoga teacher,Soundbath facilitator & Sound Healing Therapist 🙏🏻

I’d been teaching in Herne Bay & Whitstable for the past 4 years after moving here from Berkshire. With a lot of change in my own life, I felt a call to deepen my own spiritual development & take a deep dive into more learning, so off I went for a 2nd time in my life to mother India, but this time…on my own! 🇮🇳🪷

In Rishikesh, India, known as the home of yoga, I completed Pre & Post Natal Yoga teacher training as well as my 300hr advanced yoga teacher training. Then I hopped across the Ganga & completed my sound healing therapy training before travelling down south to develop my ashtanga practice in luscious Kerala 🌸 what a journey it’s been!

Here’s some fun (non Awaken Within related facts about me)! Plus a few of my personal favourite memories, people, places & things💕📸

1. My best friends and I call ourselves ‘the rats’ (one of them even has a rat tattooed on her body)! 🐀
2. I grew up on the river and was always on boats. My family still run a boat company on the river Thames. ⚓️
3. In the last year I’ve got into football in a BIG way. At 34, I feel the premier league may have to wait for my next incarnation 🤪
4. I’m neurodivergent & celebrate my quirks
5. I used to be an actor- the last thing I did before moving away from the industry was voiceover in the film ‘Rocketman’ 🎭
6. In 2022 I was diagnosed with a brain condition called Chiari syndrome. It rocked my world a bit…for a while. I’m still learning about my condition & how it affects my practice & everyday life.
7. One of my favourite things to do is watch live stand up comedy 😂

It’s time for a rebirth, a new beginning, from Floating Yoga, to ✨Awaken Within✨

Whilst I’ve taken time away for rest & recovery, I’ve been busying away on my rebrand for some time to create a brand that now better aligns with who I am, my ethos, the now wide range of healing therapies, yoga & meditation that I offer, and of course to create an offering that aligns with my dharma, my souls unique purpose ✨🙏🏻✨

Over the last 5 years my yoga business has grown into something I could never have imagined 💕🙏🏻

Originally, I offered primarily Hatha yoga & meditation, but as my own practice, interest & my commitment to my own development has continued, I’ve followed the signs and the nudges from the universe guiding me on my path & invested in my training and spiritual development in so many ways.

I now offer yoga, meditation, soundbaths, workshops, reiki, yoga for 12 step recovery, 1-1 therapies and practices, workshops, restorative hatha, restorative yin yoga & chair yoga….
