💛 U16 YELLOW | MATCH DAY 💙

A brilliant performance from the U16 Yellow squad yesterday against Chartham! 👏🏼⚽

RISERS started strongly, playing some fantastic football and controlling the opening 15 minutes. The pressure eventually paid off with Kasper finding the breakthrough.

More great football followed, with Archie getting on the scoresheet to extend the lead. Chartham fought back before the break, but RISERS remained in control.

The boys came out strong again in the second half, with debutant Jaylen battling brilliantly to get on the scoresheet and put RISERS firmly in the driving seat. 🔥

A late Chartham goal made for a nervy finish, but RISERS kept their heads, stayed composed and controlled the final minutes to see the game out. 💪🏼

🏆 POTM: Oliver ⭐

An excellent defensive display, with fantastic challenges, winning the ball back time and time again and helping the team see the game out.

A really strong team performance from the Yellow squad! 💛💙👏🏼

A brilliant battling performance from the Yellow squad yesterday in a closely fought game! 💪🏼⚽

RISERS started strongly, with Anya opening the scoring after a great pass from Arthur, before Anya struck again following a fantastic run from Alfie. 🙌🏼

The second half saw plenty of action, with Anya completing her hat-trick after more great work from Alfie. 🔥

There was fantastic defending from Rocco, Roman and James, great attacking runs from Jordan and Frank, while Avery made some brilliant saves in goal to keep the team fighting right until the final whistle.

A proper team effort from everyone, with plenty of determination, great passing and some lovely football throughout. 👏🏼

⭐ Player of the Match: Anya — a fantastic hat-trick and brilliant all-round performance! 💛

💙 U13 BLUES | AWAY WIN 💛

Cheriton Utd 0–2 RISERS U13 Blues

A long trip to Folkestone yesterday for the Blues, who came away with another well-earned win! 👏🏼

Cheriton started brightly, pressing high and making it difficult for RISERS to get forward. But defensively, the boys stood strong, allowing very little.

As the first half went on, RISERS grew into the game and started to take control. The goals eventually came in the second half, with Freddie opening the scoring before captain Max produced a brilliant lobbed finish to make it 2–0. 🔥

Another strong defensive display, with Arthur impressing at the back, while ⭐ Player of the Match Jonah was unlucky not to add a third right at the death.

A patient, composed performance from the Blues. 💙👏🏼

🏆 BARRETT CUP QUARTER-FINAL

Betteshanger 1–7 RISERS Men’s Yellow 💛💙

A brilliant cup performance from the Yellow squad yesterday as they booked their place in the Barrett Cup semi-finals! 👏🏼🔥

RISERS started brightly, taking an early lead before Betteshanger levelled almost immediately. From there, it was largely one-way traffic, with RISERS creating chance after chance.

Jack put RISERS back in front with a brilliant finish, before Rye-Leigh made it 3–1 just before half-time.

The second half was 🔥 as Harry, Liam, Jack and Harry again all found the net to complete a 7–1 win.

💪🏼 Strong performance. Big result. Semi-finals secured!

⭐ Player of the Match: George — superb at the back, controlling the defence and helping set the platform for RISERS to attack.

Well done lads! 💛💙👏🏼

🏆 TEAM OF THE MONTH – SEPTEMBER 🏆

Huge congratulations to our U8 Blue — our very first Team of the Month winners this season! 💙🙌

These boys are actually U7s playing up a year, taking on 5-a-side football against other U7s who are also stepping up to U8 football — and what a month they’ve had! 👏

The voting was unanimous and here’s just a little of what their supporters had to say:

💙 Won their first U8 festival — winning the cup!
💙 Incredible work rate & superb teamwork
💙 Passing with maturity way beyond their years
💙 110% at training and matches
💙 Won both a shield AND a cup playing up a year!
💙 “Genuinely a great bunch of boys”
💙 “Little champs!”

One supporter summed it up perfectly: “Smashed it!” 👏👏

What a fantastic achievement from the boys and their coaches. A brilliant start to their U8 journey! 💙⚽️

🏆 The Team of the Month trophy will be winging its way to you at training to celebrate! 🙌

Well done U8 Blue — thoroughly deserved! 💙

💙💛 U10 BLUES | WHAT A WIN! 💛💙

Early start. Long journey. Absolutely worth it! 👏🏼

The Blues travelled away to Betteshanger this morning and came away with a fantastic team win after a brilliant all-round performance.

From the first whistle, Risers were defending and attacking as a unit, battling for every ball and putting in a huge shift. 💪🏼

Morgs got things started with some quick thinking after a great run, before Harris finished brilliantly from a wonderful long kick from Chester. Albie then bundled one over the line with his knee!

The second half carried on in the same vein, with Harris adding another two to complete a well-deserved hat-trick! ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Harper, Albie and Morgan were unlucky not to add to the tally too, with the Betteshanger keeper having a cracking game.

Elijah, Luca and Marley worked tirelessly in midfield, while Chester was bossing it from goal and determined to keep that clean sheet. 🧤 He even came bravely off his line in the final few minutes to s***f out a rare Betteshanger attack.

🏅 POM: Harris
A brilliant hat-trick, but it was his all-round performance that stood out — pressing their defence, supporting midfield and making a real impact throughout. 👏🏼

A proper Blues team performance! 💙💛
Well done Risers! 👏🏼

💛💙 U16 YELLOWS | MATCH DAY 💙💛

⚽ Rising Stars U16Y 2–3 Deal Town

A tough, closely fought game for the U16 Yellows on Saturday, with very little between the two sides.

Jaiden opened the scoring with a fantastic finish, before Deal fought back to take the lead. Risers kept pushing and Harri pulled one back with five minutes to go, but despite a late push, we couldn’t find the equaliser.

👏 Plenty of effort and determination from the boys in a game that could have gone either way.

🏆 POTM: Jaiden ⭐
Another excellent performance, capped off with a goal!

Well done, boys! 💛💙

🏆 RISERS U7s – FESTIVAL WINNERS! 💙💛

What a fantastic first festival of the season for our U7s, playing up against teams a year older than them — and they certainly didn’t look out of place! 👏⚽️

The boys battled through the group games, then won their semi-final to book their place in the final.

A brilliant final ended all square, meaning it went to penalties… and the boys held their nerve to WIN the shootout! 🎉🏆

🧤 Moment of the Tournament: Phoenix with a huge penalty save to secure the trophy!

🛡️ Shield Winner: Brodie, for his fantastic tackling, determination and never-give-up attitude.

⭐ Player of the Tournament: Frankie, who made a huge impact throughout the festival, scoring the important goals and working just as hard off the ball.

A brilliant effort from the boys, especially playing up a year. So much determination, teamwork and togetherness from start to finish.

Well done, Risers U7s! 🏆💙💛

⚽️ RISERS U10 Yellows 💛

A real game of two halves for the Yellows against Faversham Strikeforce Thunder on Saturday.

The first half was tough, with the boys under plenty of pressure, but some determined defending kept them fighting.

After a positive half-time reset, the second half was a completely different story. The boys worked hard, moved the ball well and started creating chances as they grew into the game. 💪⚽️

Rudy got on the scoresheet with a lovely finish, while the whole team showed great character to respond and keep battling right to the end.

👏 Player of the Match: Matthew — a warrior in defence, making important interceptions, blocking shots and doing a brilliant job of getting the ball forward into midfield.

A tough first half, but a fantastic response. Plenty to be proud of! 💙💛

⚽️ RISERS U13 Blues 2–0 Chartham

A brilliant home performance from the Blues on Saturday at Whitstable School! 💙💛

A bobbly pitch made keeping the ball under control tricky for both teams, but RISERS adapted really well and grew in confidence as the game went on.

There were early chances for Beaudey and Jude, before Beaudey found the breakthrough shortly before half-time to put RISERS 1–0 up. 👏

The second half saw more of the same — positive passing, good pressing and plenty of attacking intent. Beaudey grabbed his second to make it 2–0, while RISERS continued to create chances, with Dylan unlucky not to win a penalty after a great run through from midfield.

Defensively, Arthur and Jonah were composed throughout, while Anthony was there to deal with anything that did get through! 🧤

👏 Player of the Match: Jake — a quality performance, pressing well, carrying the ball and linking the midfield and forwards brilliantly.

Every player stepped up and showed a huge improvement from last week. A really positive performance from the Blues! 💙💛

Well done, lads! 👏⚽️
