The Rising Stars Men’s team finished with the right attitude, commitment and togetherness — a perfect way to mark the end of our first full season 💪

A huge thank you to our U18s for their valued support throughout the season. 👏

Training returns week commencing 17th August as we prepare for 2026/27.

⚽ Our U18s will form our Sunday Men’s Team in the Herne Bay & Whitstable League, while our First Team continues on Saturdays in the Canterbury & District League.

Congratulations to our U13 Yellows and coaches Stuart, Daniel and Jamie, who are the final Team of the Month winners of the season!

The team were clear winners in the voting, with supporters describing them as:

💬 “A tenacious, resilient bunch, and both their hard work and the hard work of their brilliant coaches has paid off this season with a promotion.”

💬 “The team have played with the correct attitude and desire all season, coming from behind in some games and bouncing back to keep their title challenge going for as long as possible.”

After earning promotion and finishing an impressive 2nd place in the league, this recognition is thoroughly deserved.

This award also provides the perfect opportunity to thank Stuart, who will be stepping down from managing the team. Having led this group since they first came together as U7s, Stuart’s commitment, leadership and dedication have helped shape not only a successful team, but a fantastic group of young players. Thank you for everything you have given to the boys and the club over the years.

We’ll also be saying goodbye to Frank, who has been a valued member of the squad throughout the journey. Frank has been an important part of the team and will be greatly missed by his teammates, coaches and the wider RISERS family. We wish him every success for the future.

👏 We’d also like to give a special mention to our U9 Yellows, who received fantastic support in the voting after an excellent season of their own.

Congratulations once again to the U13 Yellows on lifting the final Team of the Month trophy of the 2025/26 season! 💛💙

💙💛 Throwback to a brilliant way to finish the season… 💛💙

Our U9 Blues signed off the season in style with an outstanding team performance away at Ramsgate.

It was one of those matches where you could really see everything the team had been working on throughout the season come together. They worked tirelessly for each other, stayed disciplined with their positions and showed great determination from the first whistle to the last.

Harris got things going with two first-half goals before Morgan added another two after the break, while the whole team played their part in securing a well-deserved clean sheet. Risers continued to create chances throughout, hitting the woodwork several times and never taking their foot off the gas.

A special mention to Chester, who was deservedly named Player of the Match after an excellent display in goal. From confidently claiming a corner to producing a superb through ball that nearly set up a hat-trick, he showed just how much he’d developed over the season.

A fantastic team performance and a wonderful way to round off a brilliant U9 season. As they get ready to become our U10 Blues, we can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings. 💙⚽🌟

💛💙 Throwback to one of those moments when everything just clicked… 💙💛

Back in May, our then U9 Yellows travelled to Baypoint knowing they were facing one of the strongest technical sides around. Having suffered a heavy defeat in the previous meeting, the boys could easily have been daunted—but instead, they showed just how much they had grown.

From the first whistle, they stuck to the game plan, worked tirelessly for each other and played with confidence, composure and belief. Every player played their part, creating chances, using the space brilliantly and showing what can happen when a team trusts one another.

It wasn’t just the result that made this day so memorable—it was the performance. You could see the progress they’d made over the season, and it really felt like something had clicked.

A special mention also to CJ, who deservedly picked up Player of the Match after a fantastic display. His confidence had been growing week by week, and this performance showed exactly how far he’d come.

As this brilliant group prepares to become our U10 Yellows, it’s lovely to look back on moments like these. We can’t wait to see what next season brings for this talented bunch. 🌟⚽
