What a day! βοΈπ
A group of our WRFC players, coaches and parents headed to StoneX Stadium today for the final home game and to collect our framed shirt from The Showdown!
With the sun shining and a sell-out crowd, it was a fantastic atmosphere and a brilliant day out for everyone involved βοΈ
The occasion was made even more special as it was also the final game in charge for Mark McCall, marking the end of a remarkable era at the club πͺ
The day was topped off by meeting the players, getting shirts signed, and catching up with our very own Tom Willis, who proudly wore our club badge on his shirt at The Showdown.
A memorable day and a great reminder of what makes rugby such a special community π

π A special day for Whitstable RFC! π
Today, a few of our WRFC members are heading to Stone X Stadium for a memorable occasion.
We are incredibly proud to be presented with a framed Saracens shirt featuring the Whitstable RFC logo, worn by Sarries player Tom Willis at The Showdown earlier this year.
This fantastic recognition highlights the strength of grassroots rugby and the importance of community clubs in the game.
The celebrations will then continue as we watch Saracens' final home game of the season from the stands.
A huge thank you to Saracens for this incredible gesture. It's something our club will treasure for years to come.
Whitstable RFC β Proud of our past, passionate about our future π

Ten seasons of mud, mates, tackles, tours, early mornings, big wins, tough losses, and unforgettable memories⦠all together. Congratulations Callum, Will and James.
Now they step into the next chapter β Colts rugby and the start of their senior journey. And what a journey itβs going to be πͺ

π U12's Match Report π
Whitstable U12s served up an entertaining home draw against Sheppey yesterday, in a game that had just about everything, early dominance, a spirited comeback, and plenty of smiles along the way.
Whitstable came flying out of the blocks, racking up a couple of quick fire tries that had supporters thinking it might be a long afternoon for the visitors. The passing was sharp, the running direct, and for a spell it looked like Whitstable had cracked the code.
But credit to Sheppey, they were not going anywhere. As the game wore on, Whitstableβs defence became a little more generous than the coaches would have liked, and Sheppey took full advantage, working their way back into the contest with determination and some well taken tries of their own.
In the end, a draw felt like a fair result in a match that swung back and forth and kept everyone guessing π
A special mention goes to Jude, who was deservedly picked as Whitstableβs Man of the Match by the opposition, a great bit of recognition that says a lot about his effort and attitude on the pitch π
Plenty to be proud of, a few lessons learned, and most importantly, another cracking game of rugby enjoyed by all! π

Massive appreciation for our U6 coaching team.
Youβve taken a new group of little players and developed them into a confident, connected squad who love every minute on the pitch π
From teaching the basics to encouraging teamwork and making rugby fun, youβve created something really special at the very start of their rugby journey. π
Thank you for everything you put in β the foundations youβve built will stay with these players for years. π

U13's Kent Sevens tournament held at Medway today β and what an outstanding effort from every single lad! πͺ
They faced some big sides in Medway, Westcombe Park and Old Colfs, storming their way into the semiβfinal before a narrow loss to Ashford π₯
Brilliant teamwork across the board, safe hands from Albert, and two cracking tries from Monty H.
A real squad performance from start to finish. πͺπ
