Just finishing the final touches to get the right balance and action from our jerk jacks today when this jack decided it looked good enough for him. Hopefully we will get the first batch finished next week.

The new lure range is going down a treat with the canal pike at the moment.

Our BMF craft jerk jack, a sold polyurethane 7 1/2 inch bait weighing in at approximately 105g. Airbrush painted and finished with 10mm eyes and a hard epoxy coating.

A slow sinking jerk bait with a big swing action and a big hang time on the pause. A tantalising bait for those big Jack munching female pike.

What have we been doing lately behind the scenes at BMF? Well here’s a sneak peek 👀, more info to come over the next few weeks. But I will take this opportunity to introduce our jerk Jack. Fully built by us in-house from scratch and just going through their final testing.

Introducing our all new bladed wobble bait rigs. Built on 49 strand 45lb wire and fitted with a gold or silver blade and glow beads. Hook you deadbait by it’s nose on the mustad 2/0 and use the size 6 stinger treble hook to slightly bend your bait by hooking along its flank. Cast and retrieve in a start stop pattern allowing it to sink on the pause. A deadly and overlooked method that can produce when everything else seems to be a struggle.

Another day on the bank. Today’s lesson, basic deadbait fishing and safe pike handling. Hopefully we can bank a few before the rain arrives this afternoon.

Another great day guiding on the Ribble for some autumn gold before the heavy rain this weekend . A net full of firsts and PBs

A tough opening day for some of us with very little action on one res. Fortunately our newest team members Ste and Riley got off to a flying start on another res. Banking several double figure fish, Riley taking the pick of the bunch with this cracking mid double. Good angling guys 👏👏👏.
