Felt incredible to get out on my skates today.
I've been thinking lately about how everything has gone over the past 7 months, and nothing has gone as I expected it to go.
I am actually really grateful with how it is going, because if I had got what I expected and sold out within the first few weeks, most of what I have been doing over the past months and what I am doing right now, I probably would not have done.
Having a long-term mindset and the will to never give up changes the future that I see quite a lot. If I had sold out and was already on the second batch, probably 100% of my time would be spent working on ONE Blades.
Because that didn't happen, I have performed, created coaching videos, and now I am about to be coaching on the ice, on inline, whilst running ONE Blades, building platforms for the industry, and potentially performing, all at the same time.
The way I see it, as long as I don't give up and I keep working as hard as I can, then if I look forward 1 year, 5 years, 10 years, 20 years, where will ONE Blades be, and most importantly, what impact will I have on the figure skating industry?
Almost everything I have built lately started with a very small idea, which then led to the next idea, and the next idea, and the next platform. Now, with all of the research for skating today, I have an immense amount of information across the entire skating industry.
The next thing I will be doing is using all of that information to create something. I haven't yet decided what it should be, but I feel I have a duty to create something from this information for the industry.
