Last night was a little different.
Following training , we came together for an impromptu get-together to say farewell to our overseas professional, Benele, as he begins his journey home.
On behalf of everyone at Willington Cricket Club, we’d like to say a huge thank you for everything you’ve brought to the club during your time with us.
Your commitment on the field, your support for our players, your involvement with our juniors, and the friendships you’ve made have all left a lasting impression.
You’ve been a fantastic ambassador for the club and have become part of the Willington family. While we’re sad to see you go, we’re incredibly grateful for the memories we’ve shared and everything you’ve contributed throughout the season.
We wish you every success for the future, both on and off the cricket field. You’ll always be welcome back at Willington, and we hope our paths cross again someday.
