Dame of the Game - Abi ✨

What a great start to the summer season for Abi! She was versatile, determined and made great impact.

Tough result on the scoreboard, but a determined performance from the girls from start to finish 💪

Charlotte put in a huge shift at GK, defending brilliantly and giving it everything. Molly was fantastic as always in GD, while Maria delivered some fantastic passes as WA to open up the game.

Vic was solid and reliable through the centre before moving to WD, where she kept the shooters well under control. Georgia worked tirelessly as C second half, linking up beautifully with her sister Katie to feed some lovely balls into the D — must be telepathy! ✨

Abi stepped up as a stand-in shooter and played really well before returning to WD. Katie added great depth on court and even revealed a hidden talent at GS in the second half! Em also impressed as a stand-in shooter, especially as she’s usually holding things down at the other end as GK.

Big thanks to our favourite scorer Jamie for keeping track of it all with his brand new pen🖊️, and to Mol and Beth for the brilliant sideline support 🙌

Plenty to build on, as we move forward in the summer league — onwards and upwards! 🧡🏐🖤
