Big News You Can Use… for autumn 2026
This week sees the last round of the sports touring car sprint championship, we were hoping that this championship would have been well supported as many races do tend to like the faster classes. However, it has not seen the uptake we would’ve hoped.
It would be really good if between now and November we could all have a think about what sprint championship we would like to run next year, in the next few weeks we will put up a pole on the page so we can all have our say.
Coming up very soon is the start of the winter championships, this championship will run over eight rounds and will finish in mid October, unfortunately between now and the end of the year there are several dates which are not available for us to race and will interrupt the championship slightly. We will be running all the usual standard classes that we normally run. Novice, two wheel drive, Tamiya touring, MTC, and GT 12. Everybody get yourself prepared for some hot action on the track.
Attached is an image showing the calendar up until the end of the year and you will see that coming up very quickly is our final 2026 sprint championship offering… Tamiya trucks, we are hoping for another fantastic sprint championship to run us into the end of the year and some fun race days.
Sunday 9th August is the final round of the Sport TC Sprint Championship, and of course the last non championship round of all of our other classes ahead of the start of the Winter Series!

Big News You Can Use… for Summer 2026
Despite the Russians hacking our brains and trying to influence the summer championship I can confirm they failed.
There is actually one more week of the summer championship and the Sports TC sprint champs starts on the 12th July.
Get your TC’s ready between now and then for some faster than usual 4wd action.
The rule set is quite open with not many limitations for example you can use any 1/10 touring car chassis… including the TT01’s and 2’s if you wish, you can get to experience the difference when using a higher downforce shell from the approved list which is actually quite extensive, you can even go as low as 4.0/1 FDR should you wish!
There are a few control factors like the motor and esc combo, battery and tyres. Take a look at the rules on the community page for the full list of rules and allowances (https://www.facebook.com/groups/475432071365461?locale=en_GB). MB Models now have a really good stock of the chosen control tyre…

The Sports TC championship is 4 weeks long but is split in half with the MK round of the GT12 regional championships. Please don’t forget the support class for the regionals is the Tamiya trucks. For those with a truck it’s a great competition to enter and the chance of a top quality almost glass trophy.
This has to be said but follothe Sports TC it’s straight downhill with the winter championship’s heading towards Christmas BBrrrr…
