Hello! It’s been too long since I’ve posted here so thought I would do a little check in! How’s everyone’s summer going? ☀️
We’re embracing the staycation vibe this summer and enjoying some UK day trips.
Yesterday we went to Drayton Manor 🎢 and WOW, it was HOT! 🥵
So I have to give a HUGE shout-out to the person inside this lion costume! 🦁😂 Dancing, singing and entertaining the kids in a full fluffy suit in that heat deserves a medal! 👏
What have you been up to this summer? Have you been away or enjoying a staycation too? 👇☀️
And don’t forget… our autumn term is now OPEN for bookings! 🍂🎉
You can book 3 or 5 weeks at a time, pay as you go, or book the whole term up to October half term, whatever works for you!
I have lots of fun classes planned and I can’t wait to see you all! I miss your faces!! 💕

Its looks like its going to be super hot again over the next couple of days so I thought I would share our what to wear in hot weather advice again for those who may have missed it 🌞
This image gives an idea of what clothing to have your baby in on hot nights, always check manufacturers instructions on sleeping bags When checking your little ones temperature its best to use your hand on their back or chest. Do not use hands and feet as these are often colder than the rest of their body
Remember to stay hydrated 💦 We will also be sharing our hot nights advice later

Such an important one to take note of in this weather! 🥵🥵
Sun stroke (medically known as heat exhaustion)
Children are unable to regulate their temperature as well as adults 🥵
Early recognition and treatment of sun stroke (heat exhaustion) will help to prevent the condition worsening and becoming heat stroke
The signs of heat exhaustion include:
* a headache
* dizziness and confusion
* loss of appetite and feeling sick
* excessive sweating and pale, clammy skin (may say they feel cold)
* cramps in the arms, legs and stomach
* fast breathing or pulse
* a high temperature of 38C or above
* being very thirsty
The symptoms are often the same in adults and children, although children may become floppy and sleepy
If someone is showing signs of heat exhaustion, they need to be cooled down
Move to a cool place, remove unnecessary clothing, cool their skin around the neck and armpits and fan them. Hydrate with water, isotonic drinks or re-hydration sachets
Seek medical advice if there is no improvement or the child/adult is worsening. If heat exhaustion progresses to heat stroke this is a medical emergency
Babies under 6 months should not be in direct sunlight and exposure to the sun for older children should be avoided in the hottest part of the day. Always use sunshades or parasols wherever possible

Moulsoe Toddlers you’re stuck with me today (Gemma) as Rachel is sick.
It’s a sad day today though because we say goodbye to Moulsoe. I’ve run toddler Sense from this hall for nearly 8 years! Before that it was Tash and before her Louise! (And Hannah too ❤️) I’ve loved every minute of running Toddler Sense here.
I would love to see your favourite Toddler Sense Memories over the years to cheer me up!
If you’re booked on this week I’ll see you for some Disco fun! We still have spaces if you want to join tomorrow for the last one!
