Our second winner of the night was another pleasing one with (T5) getting back to winning ways. He’s had a very stop/start year so far so it was great to see him back to his old self. He broke particularly well and was on the leaders by the bend, taking the lead down the back he did have to hold off some challengers but stuck his neck out near the line to take the 🏆

It was so nice to see (T6) back on the podium at Newcastle Greyhound Stadium last night as she scored in the heat of the bi***es open race competition beating a good field and what a run it was. She didn’t break particularly well and took a big bump at the bend, but got her head down on the back straight and ate ground up on the leader, passing it on the run in to clock 28.74 🔥🔥

She joins and in the final next Thursday

(T5) made it two for the afternoon as she came from well off the pace to win a scrappy affair. She broke really well but ended up last at the bend, there was some bunching in front and she took advantage, swinging up the inside off the last and roaring past them on the run in to score in 29.98 🙏🏻🙏🏻

(T6) got us off the mark this afternoon as the winners continue to roll!! He hit the line in a blazing fast 4.55 and opened up a massive gap down the back to the pack, they did their best to close him down but he kept pulling to take the 🏆 in 29.91 👌🏻👌🏻

Our boy (T4) continues to find bits of improvement and scored to make it a hat trick in a career best 29.08! He went to the line in a blazing 4.59 and led all the way, T6 put in a commendable challenge but Bro turned on the boosters coming home to go on and win by 2 lengths 🙏🏻🙏🏻

(T5) made it two as she has become a bit of a handicap specialist! It was her first time from near the back of the stagger this time but it didn’t faze her at all, she gradually moved up the order with just two ahead of her off the last but she ate the ground up coming home to go on by a length in 29.83 💪🏻💪🏻

We kicked off our week at Newcastle Greyhound Stadium with a Tuesday morning hat trick, and it began with a pair of handicap victories! (T4) was first up as she put in a late dash to secure the 🏆. She maintained her position in the stagger all the way to the last bend where she swung wide to come right around the leaders in 29.72 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Another one of our Liverpool FC themed stars made it two as (T4) made it two with a career best clock of 29.21! She broke well to lead at the bend and as a bitch who finishes strong the race was all but done there, she again showed great staying prowess to power home and surely had lots more to come 🙏🏻🙏🏻

We rounded off our week at Newcastle Greyhound Stadium with a Saturday afternoon double with (T2) taking her second career win to kick us off. It was a brave brave effort from her, despite taking a bump to the legs at the bend she emerged in front and never looked like letting them get near as she ran on strongly to score for the second time in 30.18 👏🏻👏🏻

(T6) made it two for the night with a great run from the back of the handicap. She certainly had to work for it, sitting in behind the pack for much of the race but as they came off the last the pack moved off and she had a lovely gap to move up the inside and had by far the best staying power to get up in 29.18 💪🏻💪🏻
