Join me on Sunday 23rd June 2-4.30pm to honour the Summer Solstice at .retreat โ๏ธ
During the afternoon we will take a yoga flow to honour the energy of the sun and to remind us to find balance at this midpoint in the seasonal year ๐๐ผ
Following our practice, we will enjoy delicious tea and treats that can be enjoyed outside in the beautiful surroundings of Decoy Ponds. There will also be the opportunity to journal on the months that have been and the months to come ๐ฉต
We will then finish the afternoon with a relaxing yoga Nidra/meditation โจ

With Yin yoga becoming increasingly more popular, we are adding another class to our weekly timetable ๐
A passive practice usually performed while seated or lying. Yin focuses on stretching deeper connective tissues, such as ligaments, tendons and deep fascia ๐

I think itโs pretty safe to say that we all know what yoga is good for and what we are likely to feel from it ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
As much as those benefits are amazing, letโs be honest, yoga isnโt for everyoneโฆ..or is it?!
When we try/experience something new, if we go in with the mindset โthis isnโt for meโ or โI donโt like yogaโ or โI canโt do thatโ, then thatโs the experience youโre going to get.
Like anything new, itโs so beneficial to go in with an open mind so that you can experience the full benefits.
Itโs also worth surrendering to that fact that those benefits will not happen overnight, and it takes time.
Be open to the experience, give yourself (your body and mind) time and be consistent in your practice ๐๐ผ

I think itโs safe to say that when our lives are busy, we do forget what it feels like to give ourselves that precious 1 hour.
I know an hour can seem like a big chunk out of your day/evening, especially if life is crazy/busy for you, but when you feel like the above feedback, that hour is so worthwhile and surely a no brainer?!
Donโt wait until that hour is ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฑ. Give yourself that time ๐ป๐ผ๐.
