Join me on Sunday 23rd June 2-4.30pm to honour the Summer Solstice at .retreat โ˜€๏ธ

During the afternoon we will take a yoga flow to honour the energy of the sun and to remind us to find balance at this midpoint in the seasonal year ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Following our practice, we will enjoy delicious tea and treats that can be enjoyed outside in the beautiful surroundings of Decoy Ponds. There will also be the opportunity to journal on the months that have been and the months to come ๐Ÿฉต

We will then finish the afternoon with a relaxing yoga Nidra/meditation โœจ

With Yin yoga becoming increasingly more popular, we are adding another class to our weekly timetable ๐Ÿ’š

A passive practice usually performed while seated or lying. Yin focuses on stretching deeper connective tissues, such as ligaments, tendons and deep fascia ๐Ÿ’š

I think itโ€™s pretty safe to say that we all know what yoga is good for and what we are likely to feel from it ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

As much as those benefits are amazing, letโ€™s be honest, yoga isnโ€™t for everyoneโ€ฆ..or is it?!

When we try/experience something new, if we go in with the mindset โ€˜this isnโ€™t for meโ€™ or โ€˜I donโ€™t like yogaโ€™ or โ€˜I canโ€™t do thatโ€™, then thatโ€™s the experience youโ€™re going to get.

Like anything new, itโ€™s so beneficial to go in with an open mind so that you can experience the full benefits.

Itโ€™s also worth surrendering to that fact that those benefits will not happen overnight, and it takes time.

Be open to the experience, give yourself (your body and mind) time and be consistent in your practice ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

I think itโ€™s safe to say that when our lives are busy, we do forget what it feels like to give ourselves that precious 1 hour.

I know an hour can seem like a big chunk out of your day/evening, especially if life is crazy/busy for you, but when you feel like the above feedback, that hour is so worthwhile and surely a no brainer?!

Donโ€™t wait until that hour is ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ. Give yourself that time ๐—ป๐—ผ๐˜„.
