Away trip to Mynydd Isa under 10s for the 11s today looking to keep our good start to the season going.

Credit to Isa 10s they battled from start to finish not giving the girls a minute on the ball.

Some lovely play throughout the game and cracking goals continued the girls good run of form.

Special mentions to Maiyah who was absolutely brilliant pinging the balls from defence and Martha who is a little warrior who just keeps going despite a few knocks.

Tough morning for our u10s this morning against broughton, despite struggling to get going there were some really positive periods where we saw some great passing, great movement on and off the ball and great battling on the pitch. The scoreline didn't do the girls justice and doesn't reflect how they played!
Under the conditions as coaches we were proud of how the girls carried themselves and their attitude during the game.. they kept battling right until the end 👏

POTM

Sara - has asked previously to try going in goal and took on the roll of GK today. Sara made some absolutely brilliant saves and took our very well deserved POTM 👏

U9s match report

A really positive couple of games for our Under 9s girls today up at Solway Banks, with a narrow 1-0 defeat followed by a 0-0 draw. Both games showed just how much the girls are improving and confidence is growing week on week. Every player was fantastic, working incredibly hard for each other, showing great teamwork and plenty of technical ability. It’s brilliant to see the improvements with every game they play, and they should all be really proud of their efforts today. ⚽️👏💪

Game 1 POTM - Ella W

Worked tirelessly for the team in a midfield role, covered every blade of grass. Showed some great dribbling ability and contributed at both ends of the pitch. Well done Ella!

Game 2 POTM - Seren

Played in goal for the first time and didn't put a foot wrong. Made some great saves and her distribution from the back was 1st class. Well played Seren!

U10s

Ava - really worked hard to get herself involved in the game, played some lovely passes forward and almost scored after working hard to find the space

Orlaith - worked hard from start to finish, scored herself 5 brilliantly worked goals and coped really well with the physicality of the game

Sara - excellent display in defence from sara, the opposition really struggled to get anything past her

U11s

Anastazja GK - Great saves throughout the game including tipping one over the bar from a free kick destined for the top corner.

Ruby Def - Solid throughout and shows her development week to week with also helping other players.

Nancy Mid - Worked her socks off from minute one rewarded with the only goal of the game

U14s

Seren Campbell
An excellent performance from Seren , showing a fantastic variety of goals — solo runs, volleys, and those classic right place, right time tap-ins.

She never gave up on a ball, constantly working hard and putting pressure on the opposition.

FC 15s

Amaya Edwards - great week in training for Amaya, always listening and looking to improve

Darcey Fletcher - new signing Darcey has fitted superbly into our squad for this season & only going to get better

Milly Case - recently back from injury & has rejoined the squad seamlessly & trained very well

U16s

Brickfield u10s V Hawarden Park

A fantastic morning for our u10s playing at home against Hawarden Park with the girls securing their first win of the season! 👏👏
From the first minute the girls played some lovely attacking football and got the early goal to take the lead with some brilliant link up play.
The girls defended brilliantly and worked well as a team to move the ball up the pitch and coped really well with the physicality of the match.
Where we usually tire in the final third we asked the girls to keep the tempo up and they couldn't have done it better keeping the pressure on hawarden 👏

Absolute fantastic game on the 3G at Ysgol Clywedog this morning for our U11's. Credit to Northop for such a good game.

Now to our girls, probably the most complete performance from start to finish we have seen for a long time.

Two thirds deadlocked before the winner in the third from Nancy firing into the corner.

Every single player was unbelievable today and played their part. Special mentions to Anastazja who made some cracking saves, Nancy who worked her socks off from minute one and Ruby who was an absolute rock at the back today. Well done girls.

Also a mention to the Northop goalkeeper, made some worldie saves throughout.

Pen - made her debut for the team, full of enthusiasm and effort and managed to score the only goal in the first game. Great start Pen.

Sophia - our superstar goalkeeper, made some brilliant saves throughout the morning, especially in the 2nd game. Great organising from the back aswell.

Erin - another playing her first game for the team this morning. Showed some amazing skills and technical ability and scored her first goal for the club. Well done Erin.

U10s

Maddison - Maddison has returned to us after a break away and had an excellent games in a new position as ST. Rewarded for her efforts by a goal

Esmee - solid game in defence making vital tackles, went in goal for the final third and make some amazing saves showing real bravery

Alice - played in a new position in DF and was brilliant making vital tackles, working the ball up the pitch and communicating well with her team

U11s

Erin H - Fantastic all round midfield performance, literally everywhere, capped off with a goal on a brilliant morning for the team.

U14s

Millie Morris - A brilliant display of energy, determination and hard work from start to finish. She was a constant threat going forward, looking dangerous every time she got on the ball, while also putting in a huge shift defensively and tracking back to help the team.

Her attacking contribution was exceptional, finishing the game with 2 goals and 3 assists.

U15s

Rubi Hughes - She keeps composed in goal, keeping a clean sheet. She came out when needed, making some key clearances, and her distribution from goal kicks were great!

FC 15s

Nikola - tried her hardest to get things moving and another day she will come away with a few assists, always willing to receive the ball in tight spaces

Ruby - Solid at the back today despite the scoreline, cleared her lines very well & took a good clack to the face in the 1st half

Our u10s travelled to Northop Hall for a wet and windy morning of football.
Both teams played brilliantly from the very first whistle to the last!
Our girls have been working hard on positioning in training and this showed during the match .. they were playing some fantastic balls forward to our strikers. After going behind the girls didn't give up and were rewarded with a goal from Ruby to make the score 3-1 after the first third.
Going into the second third the girls dug even deeper and managed to get the game back level at 3-3 with goals from Maddison and Ava.
Unfortunately despite some fantastic defending the jump in playing time showed in the final third and Northop were able to capitalise and score 4 for the win.
Despite the result the progress the girls are making is phenomenal and us coaches couldn't be prouder.

Shout out to lilly who went to hospital after the first third to get her ankle checked out.. thankfully just a sprain .. hopefully a speedy recovery.

Potm

Maddison - worked hard all game, tried playing in a new position as a striker and got herself a goal

Alice - another player who tried a new position being put in defence and made some fantastic and vital blocks and tackles

Esmee - had two thirds playing in defence and went into goal for the final third making some superb saves showing massive bravery

First away game of the season for our under 11s, against a solid Penycae team.

End to end action to start the game before Erin broke the deadlock with a great finish into the corner to calm things down. Our centre half, quickly becoming a midfield maestro with 2 goals in 2 games. Nancy fired another in following a great move. Brylee capped off a great 1st third with a goal of the season contender on the turn from a corner into the roof of the net.

Second third was more of the same with all the girls not giving the opposition a minute, great work from Nancy allowed Brylee to fire home again. Deserved after working so hard last week. Nancy then had a shot cleared off the line to extend the lead.

Last third everybody kept solid with Iylah hitting the bar late on with a great effort.

Well done to Penycae and good luck for rest of the season, played some great football at times.

We talk so much about the football this team play, but the effort and workrate from everyone today was unbelievable which told in picking numerous POTM.
