📣 | NEW RAIDER - Fynn Smail

We’re delighted to welcome Fynn to Guernsey Raiders for the 2026/27 season.

A dynamic ho**er with experience across three continents, Fynn arrives with an impressive rugby CV, having represented: Millfield School 1st XV, Hartpury University, Gloucestershire U20s, Box Hill Broncos (Dewar Shield Premier Division, Australia) and a full time role with Rugby Club Lousã (Honra Division, Portugal)
Fynn combines a strong set-piece foundation with the athleticism and work rate required in the modern game. Having already gained valuable experience in both Australia and Portugal, he brings ambition, energy and a genuine desire to continue developing his game.

We’re excited to see him in a Raiders shirt and look forward to welcoming him to the Island.

📣 | NEW RAIDER - Joe Callery

We're delighted to welcome Joe to the club ahead of the new season. Comfortable at both ho**er and back row, Joe arrives with experience from some pretty diverse rugby environments, including Swansea University, Cashel RFC, Melbourne RFC, and most recently Kowloon RFC in Hong Kong's Premiership.

Whether it's battling through an Irish winter, a Melbourne summer, or the humidity of Hong Kong, Joe has built a reputation as a tough, hardworking forward who isn't afraid of the physical stuff.

Now it's time to see how he handles a Guernsey crosswind.

Excitement is building within the Guernsey Raiders squad and their fans ahead of the new season after giving a high-class Newport side a real test on Saturday.

📣 | NEW RAIDER - Joel Broadhurst

Having featured in 48 of Plymouth Albion's last 52 fixtures, Joel has demonstrated exceptional durability and consistency. His ability to stay available, perform week after week and contribute across all areas of the game will be a significant asset to the Raiders programme. At 26 years of age, he arrives with valuable National League 1 experience and the potential to make an immediate impact both on and off the field.
