Από Δευτέρα 21/09/2026 η πίστα θα κλείσει για τη χειμερινή περίοδο. ❄️

What is DE-HAARDT and why can your kart’s power be reduced?

Our karts are equipped with a DE-HAARDT electronic safety system, which allows our track staff to temporarily reduce the power and speed of a kart when necessary.

Why can DE-HARDT be activated?

The system may be used in cases of:

dangerous or aggressive driving,
failure to follow the instructions of the track marshals,
driving behaviour that may put the driver or other drivers at risk,
situations where an immediate reduction in speed is necessary for safety reasons.

⚠️ DE-HAARDT is not a punishment. It is a safety measure.

We understand that when the power of your kart is reduced, it may feel like your kart is not performing as it should. However, the purpose is not to spoil your experience or punish you. The system is used to prevent accidents and protect everyone on the track.

Our priority is for everyone to enjoy karting in a safe, fair and respectful environment.

DE-HAARDT – Τι είναι και γιατί μπορεί να μειωθεί η απόδοση του Kart;

Τα kart μας διαθέτουν ηλεκτρονικό σύστημα DE-HAARDT, το οποίο επιτρέπει στο προσωπικό της πίστας να ελέγχει και, όταν χρειάζεται για λόγους ασφαλείας, να περιορίζει προσωρινά την απόδοση ενός kart.

Γιατί μπορεί να ενεργοποιηθεί;

Το σύστημα μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί σε περίπτωση:

επικίνδυνης ή επιθετικής οδήγησης,
μη τήρησης των οδηγιών των υπευθύνων της πίστας,
συμπεριφοράς που μπορεί να θέσει σε κίνδυνο τον ίδιο τον οδηγό ή άλλους οδηγούς,
ανάγκης άμεσου περιορισμού της ταχύτητας για λόγους ασφαλείας.
Είναι ποινή;

Όχι. Το DE-HAARDT είναι ένα μέτρο ασφαλείας.

Κατανοούμε ότι ένας οδηγός μπορεί να αισθανθεί ότι το kart του «δεν τραβάει» όπως πριν και να θεωρήσει ότι πρόκειται για τιμωρία. Στην πραγματικότητα, η προσωρινή μείωση της απόδοσης εφαρμόζεται με σκοπό την πρόληψη ατυχημάτων και την προστασία όλων όσων βρίσκονται στην πίστα.

Η ασφάλεια είναι ευθύνη όλων μας. Για αυτό ζητάμε από κάθε οδηγό να ακολουθεί τις οδηγίες των υπευθύνων και να οδηγεί με σεβασμό προς τους υπόλοιπους.

Το karting είναι διασκέδαση, ταχύτητα και αδρεναλίνη — αλλά πάνω απ' όλα είναι ασφάλεια. 🏁

🏁 A little message to all our friends and guests at Formula Zante Go Kart!

August is a month of very high demand for us, and every day our team works hard to serve everyone as quickly and efficiently as possible.

👉 However, during peak hours, waiting times are unavoidable. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding — no one on our team wants you to wait any longer than necessary.

🏎️ Most importantly: SAFETY.

The different kart categories and age restrictions exist for specific safety reasons and cannot be waived, even if a customer insists or believes that they are capable of driving a particular kart.

Our safety rules apply to everyone, without exception. They are not a matter of personal preference or something that can be negotiated.

❤️ We are here to help you have fun, enjoy yourselves and experience karting in a safe environment. In order to make that possible, we also need your cooperation.

We kindly ask for:
• a little patience during peak hours
• respect for our safety rules
• and, above all, respect towards our staff, who are working under extremely busy conditions these days to provide the best possible service to everyone.
