小編表示大半個月冇出post，就快俾人炒魷魚，所以要扮下工
話説上次應承咗大家分享pre-race
但係，偷懶的小編一拖再拖，再拖就唔小心過埋年
新一年新我，小編會努力啲出post㗎啦，大家俾下面唔好unlike / unfollow啊🥺❤️

講返重點，就係pre-race啦
我地將會搞2場pre-race
然後，是咁的，其中一場我哋的確準備咗非常特別嘅賽區，香港從來未搞過的
但因為未傾好晒啲租場細節喎(真正遲遲未出post嘅原因)，所以，唯有出個post俾大家估下先😂

Guess where will the pre-races be held?

We have prepared a brand new arena for one of the pre-races, it is a place where we have never used it for orienteering in Hong Kong. And it is.... a secret 🤭

We will be announcing the venue as soon as we confirm the details with all relevant parties. At this stage, we welcome all of you to make a good guess and expect something interesting.

(So the purpose of this post is only to engage everyone here 😂 Happy New Year 😂

第三日嘅賽事，亦都係最後一日嘅official race - Sprint Relay 😍

連續跑左兩日嘅比賽，知道大家都攰啦。不過，接力賽意味住你幾攰幾想放棄，都只能夠搏盡無悔，因為你背後有3個等緊你返終點嘅隊友啊 #係愛啊 💪🏻💪🏻

事不宜遲，聽下賽事負責人有咩講 (，順便諗下搵邊幾隻腳carry自己啦😹) 👇🏻👇🏻

這可能是世界上用作定向運動最小的島嶼之一。馬灣位於大嶼山東北面，被多條繁忙的海運路線環抱。你或者難以找到另一個賽區可以擁有舊漁村、屋邨、現代化公園及沙灘，並可以與在全球第13長懸索吊橋上飛馳的鐵路和車輛競賽的賽區。現代屋邨和舊漁村在這裡併發出的火花亦吸引不少本地及外國遊客。對比起一般遊客，捉緊這次到馬灣跑定向的機會一定能令你比他們看得更多！

27/12/2021 will be the last official race of AsJYOC and HK O Week - Sprint Relay!

Sprint relay is one of the most exciting races of all, it's not just about skills and speed but also team collaboration.

Let's hear from our sprint relay team-in-charge on the terrain!

Maybe this is one of the super tiny islands for orienteering ever in the world. Ma Wan is one of the islands in the North-East part of Lantau Island, surrounded by four busy marine channels. There is no other venue where you compete in terrain ranging from old fishing villages, estates with modern parks, and beaches in one sitting, with the rails and cars shuttling on the 14th longest spanning suspension bridge – Tsing Ma Bridge. The mix of old fisherman village and model village estates on the island is also an attraction for both locals and visitors. With the opportunity to have orienteering here, you can see a lot more than being a normal tourist!

睇完尋日嘅新(新地) middle賽區，今日就同大家睇下明年今日嘅sprint賽區啦

新田，真•新賽區，小編呢啲渣渣行左幾次個賽區，lost到頭暈暈，所以都係交返俾我地專業嘅sprint負責人同大家分享下呢個既新又fun嘅賽區啦👇🏻👇🏻

新田座落於新界北部，是一條歷史悠久的村落，但在定向史上則是首次作為賽區。對比2018年亞洲定向錦標賽短距離賽區—上水圍，新田的路網更為不規則，令路線選擇更具挑戰性。典型的村落結構，周遭景物相近，讓運動員恍如置身巨型迷宮。在極高的跑速和專注力的要求下，亦請不要忘記看一眼已經有155年歷史的大夫第！

A year from now, you will be racing in this brand new place for orienteering - complicated but SUPER FUNNNN sprint venue! 😍

Let's see what the sprint race team-in-charge wants to share with you 👇🏻👇🏻

San Tin is a typical Hong Kong old village located in the northern part of Hong Kong but a new village for orienteering. Different from Sheung Shui Wai, where the sprint event of AsOC 2018 was held, the road networks in San Tin are more irregular and provide more challenge for route choices. The typical village structure and similar view around will make competitors feel like running in a maze. Extremely high running speed as well as high concentration are demanded. Every second matters but do not forget to have a glance on the 155 years old Tai Fu Tai Mansion!

今年今日，原本嘅AOC middle消已取。不過人要向前望！明年今日，將會係AsJYOC & HK O Week 嘅第一場 official race，咁岩又係middle喎 😁

賽區係週田村，呢個賽區⋯ errr 小編技術有限，都係交返俾呢場比賽嘅負責人同大家分享 👇🏻👇🏻

週田村位於新界北部，是一片被零碎植被覆蓋的丘陵地帶。這裡從未用作舉行定向活動，僅在2020年初作為Rogine賽事賽區的一部分。賽區空曠而且能見度高，與本港大部分中及長距離的定向賽區不同。高跑速的優勢將會大大降低，相對地，優越的方向感將會成為勝出賽事的關鍵，這個特點亦使這場比賽更具野外定向的特色。賽區的高能見度為觀眾提供廣闊視野欣賞賽事，浸沒在刺激的賽事氣氛中，定必可以為海外代表及本地定向人帶來全新的定向體驗。

Exactly one year later, we will be kicking off the first official race of AsJYOC and HK O Week - Middle Distance! 🎉

Let's see what the middle distance race team-in-charge has to say about the competition venue:

The competition area is an undulating plain (hügelland) covered by thin vegetations located in the northern part of Hong Kong, which has never been used for orienteering. However, it has been used as part of the competition area for Rogaining recently (in early 2020). Unlike most of the middle/long orienteering venues in Hong Kong, vegetations in the competition area are open and clear. The advantage from high running speed will be minimised and the sense of direction will be the main battlefield, which makes an orienteering competition more “orienteering”. Nevertheless, the high visibility allows spectators and audience to observe the runners and will certainly boost the competition atmosphere. It will definitely bring both overseas representatives and local competitors a brand-new orienteering experience.
