🚨 Reminder: Mandatory Face Masks 🚨

The FIH has announced a new rule requiring mandatory face masks when defending penalty corners to improve player safety and welfare.

🏑 HockeyHK fully supports this rule, which will take effect this weekend (1 March 2025) for Premier and 1st Divisions, and extend to ALL Divisions starting 1 September 2025.

⚠️ Teams without enough face masks will have fewer defenders allowed.

Let’s prioritize safety on the field! Refer to Council Circular No. 6 on our website for more details.

The 13th Hong Kong Quadrangular Hockey Tournament and 8th Women’s Hockey Invitational Tournament are coming to Hong Kong Football Club from March 7 to 9, 2025! 🇭🇰🔥

This annual event promises to showcase intense competition from teams across Asia. In the Men’s Quadrangular, teams from Hong Kong, China, Thailand, Chinese Taipei, and Indonesia will vie for victory. Meanwhile, the Women’s Invitational Tournament will feature teams from Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Chinese Taipei, and Indonesia, all competing for the championship title.

Hockey Hong Kong, China is saddened to learn that Mr Naveed Khan, a veteran hockey player passed away last night. Naveed collapsed during the recent KCC veteran tournament and remained unconscious in hospital until last night. We wish to convey our deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Hockey Hong Kong, China is saddened to learn the passing of Kader Rahman yesterday. Kader was our hockey olympian at the Tokyo Olympic Games in 1964. He was also known as the founder of inter-hall hockey at the University of Hong Kong. In recent years, Kader was closely supporting the Islamic Union in developing youth hockey. Our condolences to Kader's family and friends.

HockeyHKC President Mr Billy Dillon and Vice-President Mr Tony Cheung attended the 49th FIH Congress and were congratulating Mr. Tayyab Ikram on his re-election as FIH President for an 8 years term.

The Hockey Hong Kong, China National Youth Hockey5s Camp will be held on this weekend at King’s Park Hockey Ground. Players aged 12-16 years old will be selected in this event to represent Hong Kong, China to participate in the FIH World Youth Hockey5s Festival to be held in Ipoh, Malaysia from 17th to 21st December 2024.
