It was great to have ex-HKOCC paddler come out for a paddle while he’s in town from Aotearoa. Stanley put on the weather for him - he lives in Windy Wellington so we obliged with some nice wind today! 😆💨

Outrigger canoe racing is a fast growing sport in Hong Kong! So, if you are dragon boating it is the perfect sport to pick up, once the season is over in June!
Hong Kong Outrigger Canoe Club (HKOCC) is an active paddle club with more than 50 members from all walks of life, who paddle year-round and compete in exciting races held annually in Hong Kong, Hawaii, Australia and the rest of the world. Great training session today crew! And sometimes we do just need a sneaky pick me up in our coffee after a big water session! Out around Cape D'Aguilar the waves were around 2-4m! Lots of yeeha moments!!
