One of our favourite creatures ever is the octopus 🐙
Three hearts 🩵💛❤️
Octopuses have three hearts: two that move blood past the gills, and one that circulates oxygen-rich blood to the organs and muscles.
Blue blood 😱
Octopuses have blue blood because the protein that carries oxygen in their blood, haemocyanin, contains copper instead of iron.
Regenerate arms 🦾💪🏽
Octopuses can regenerate lost arms. If a predator attacks an octopus's arm, it can eject the arm to escape.
Ink 🖋️
Octopuses can spray an ink-like liquid to create a smokescreen and escape from predators. The ink temporarily blinds predators.

We share our Underwater World with You
Bali Diversity is located in Amed, on the North East coast of Bali. We are a French-Indonesian co-owned dive center and work in relation with a locally owned resort.
We offer all the PADI courses from Discover Scuba Diving to Divemaster Training. Amed is the best place to learn how to dive in Bali as it has lots of calm bays and reefs right off the beach!
Amed, Tulamben and its surroundings have an incredible marine life and a great diversity of sites. Dive Second World War wrecks, fly above vertiginous walls, drift along reefs swarming with fish or find unique critters on our muck dive sites...We have it all!
Bali Diversity also organizes diving trips to Gili Selang and Padangbai where amazing drift and macro dives await you.
We work in relationship with locally-owned resorts located just nearby our dive shop. They are beach front resorts with family and individual rooms and swimming pool. Great snorkelling spots are situated right in front of your room!
Bali Diversity also provide non-diving activities for those who want to discover Amed and its surroundings: Mount Agung and local trekking, cultural tours, sunrise or sunset cruise.
