Open-air, it serves everything from your morning coffee and smoothies to fresh fruit juices, w**e, cold beers and cocktails at sunset.

Did you know there are actually 12 species of wobbegong?

In Indonesia, one of the most popular to find is the tasselled wobbegong, especially around Raja Ampat.

They’re masters at blending into the reef. Their flat body, spotted pattern and little tassels around their head make them surprisingly easy to swim right past without noticing.

During the day, you’ll often find them resting under ledges or on the reef, becoming more active at night when they hunt.

And no, they’re not found everywhere in Indonesia, which makes spotting one even more special.

Also... wobbegong. Still one of our favourite shark names to say. 😊

Meet Zen. We’ve been calling her home since 2022.
👉 9 suites across 4 different categories.
👉 1 spa for some well-earned downtime.

👉 A restaurant to keep everyone very well fed.
👉 A camera room for all that precious underwater gear.

Ever wondered why we find nautilus shells on beaches across Indonesia?

Nautiluses actually live in much deeper water, using the chambers inside their shells to control their buoyancy.

When they die, the soft body disappears, but the empty shell can float. Ocean currents then carry it into shallower waters and eventually onto the beach.

A small glimpse of the marine life living far deeper than we normally dive.

The answer is... there's a very good chance.

Reef sharks are among the most common sharks we encounter in Indonesia. Curious, elegant, and an important part of a healthy reef. Spotting one in the blue is always an exciting sighting.

And somehow, that encounter never gets old.
