One of the best angles to admire a manta ray.

Looking up from below, you can really appreciate its wingspan, graceful movement, and the unique markings on its belly. Just like fingerprints, no two manta rays have the same pattern.

A view we never get tired of.

We’re heading back to Cenderawasih Bay.
After an incredible season last summer, filled with unforgettable whale shark encounters and beautiful WWII wreck dives, we knew this wouldn’t be the last time.

This place has a way of staying with you.
The calm waters, the warm welcomes from local communities, and those moments underwater with the gentle giants.

So yes, we’re going back…
đź“… July 14 to August 8, 2028

Our 2028 schedule is fresh out of the oven, and if Cenderawasih is on your list, now’s the time to secure your suite.

We can’t wait to return!

Why let your Indonesian holiday end when you step off Zen?

Many of our guests choose to spend a few extra days in Bali before or after their liveaboard, giving themselves time to adjust, relax, and discover another side of Indonesia.

That's where Melloni Cliff Castle comes in.

Perched on the cliffs of Nusa Dua, this private villa features just 4 spacious suites, panoramic ocean views, a stunning infinity pool, and direct access to a secluded beach below.

The perfect place to unwind before your adventure begins, or to soak it all in once you're back on land.

When planning your next dive holiday onboard Zen, send us a message, and we can give you more details about Melloni Cliff Castle.

We often talk about the fish.

The mantas, the sharks, the schools of barracudas and fusiliers that seem to stretch forever.

But behind all of it lies the real wonder: the reef itself.

Indonesia sits at the heart of the Coral Triangle, home to some of the richest marine ecosystems on the planet. Every hard coral, soft coral, sea fan, and bommie creates a home for the thousands of species that make diving here so special.

Halmahera exploration is coming next March onboard Zen, and we are excited to welcome you onboard.

With only a few suites left for our two exploration trips traveling between Raja Ampat and Halmahera, this is an opportunity to venture beyond the classic routes and discover one of Indonesia's lesser-visited regions.

Remote islands, vibrant reefs, historic spice trade routes, village visits, and the feeling of true exploration that comes with crossing this beautiful corner of the archipelago.

If Halmahera has been on your list, now might be the time.

A few small changes can make a big difference.

We've recently updated our sundeck with new seating areas, creating even more space to relax between dives, enjoy a good book, or simply watch islands drift by.

👉 Sunrise coffee.
👉 Afternoon ocean views.
👉 Sunsets you won't want to miss.

Just one more reason to spend a little extra time on deck.

Manta Alley

Some dive sites get their name for a reason.

Welcome to Manta Alley, one of the most famous dive sites in southern Komodo.

When the conditions line up, this is where manta rays gather to feed, clean, and cruise through the nutrient-rich waters that make Komodo so special. Sometimes you'll see one. Sometimes you'll lose count.

Strong tidal flows bring nutrient-rich water into southern Komodo, attracting plankton and creating ideal conditions for manta rays. Most encounters happen in the top 20 metres, where mantas gather around cleaning stations and feeding areas, sometimes staying with divers for the entire dive.
