Westerns GFC would like to wish former Juvenile/Ladies player Leah Murray Sheridan the very best this Sunday when she signs the National Anthem at the All Ireland Hurling Final🟢🟡

We are looking forward to welcoming all of the children on Monday for Cúl Camps 2026 and it looks like we are going to get some lovely weather too ☀️

The online booking is now closed but if there is anyone who still wants to secure a spot, there are still spaces available and the online system will reopen on Monday at 9am.

Camp starts at 10am and finishes at 2pm each day. Don't forget to pack plenty of water & sun cream 🕶️☀️

Please also make sure that children are dropped off and collected at the gate of the pitch each day. We also urge everyone to exercise extra caution when driving in or out of the pitch.

Our U10s have had a busy few weeks of football. They took on Magheracloone in Reaghstown in a competitive match last evening.

They also took part in the Ógsport Blitz hosted in St Fechins GAA last week with some great skills on show.

♻️ School Uniform Recycle – Help Make a Difference! 💙

Do you have school uniforms that no longer fit? Instead of letting them sit in a wardrobe, why not pass them on to another Tallanstown NS family?

The Tallanstown NS Parents Association is hosting a School Uniform Recycle Collection, helping families save money while reducing waste and supporting a more sustainable school community.

They are collecting:
👕 Jumpers, cardigans & sweatshirts
👔 Polo shirts, shirts & blouses
👖 Trousers, skirts, pinafores & shorts
🧥 Coats, jackets & PE gear
🎒 School bags in good condition

📅 Friday 17th July
🕙 10:00am–11:00am & 1:30pm–2:30pm
📍 Tallanstown NS Hall

Please ensure all donated items are:
✔️ Clean and freshly washed
✔️ In good condition
✔️ Free from stains or damage
✔️ Labels removed where possible (crossed-out names are absolutely fine!)

Every donation helps another family and keeps perfectly good uniforms in use.
